  1. Ah ok, thanks for that. How much do they charge for them? I think they should have some on SE, there would be some great reactions on that.
  2. I haven't been on Batwing since those posts were added that stick out above riders. What are they?
  3. I'm sure they have done something inside the wave. Why go to all this effort and leave a part of it out. They might have just replaced them or removed them completly.
  4. I would like to think so. But I would have thought they would be the last thing to be put in place.
  5. The gondola has just had a fresh coast of paint, by the look at the photoa. It was said that they were going to be re-apolstered. So now they just need to finish the pathway, add water and test it. That can be done in a week.
  6. Well I was wrong then. It looks really good with the repaint. Can anyone tell if the harnesses are any different or is it the same system? Maybe they will have it ready for Screamworld.
  7. Now that the arms are installed, I would say over the next couple of days the motors will be installed and then by the end of next week the gondola will be installed (or maybe I'm being I hopeful). I don't think it will be ready by screamworld. Wouldn't they have to do a couple of full days of testing to make sure everything works.
  8. I personally don't mind the colour scheme. It adds characters to it. I do agree however that it might have looked better if it did blend the colours, like they have done on the wave.
  9. The arms have been installed this morning. (Photo source: The Theme Park Social Network)
  10. Here are another couple of nice ones I found:
  11. I don't have many, and none of them are very special, but I like these two (Not as good as the others posted).
  12. The arms for wipeout have just arrived at dreamworld. I would say they will be installed tonight
  13. That was a really good update. You got some great photos (The cyclone and buzz saw ones are great). Thanks for that.
  14. Good photos. I think by the end of next month parts of the slide will have arrived and it can start to be joined together.
  15. I didn't mean it in that way. I meant I was expecting the layout to be the same (but on a smaller scale). When I first heard about the ride I was thinking kids would enter through the main gates and could drive near/around rides, down main street and into the western and kids wb areas. But I understand that they would have had to work with the space and it couldn't be an exact replica.
  16. ^So if I were to ask you about WnW Jr, would say nothing?
  17. Obviously it is the patching is not an exact replica of the park. They have done it so it fits into the space.
  18. They weren't overly bad and I have only gotten them twice (Arm was near shoulder, hit on the restraint, and leg was just below knee). But I am just making a point that the seating and ride itself is uncomfortable, thats why it needs fixing/changing. I don't think they need it. Yes Claw needs a fresh coat of paint, but I think that is all it needs.
  19. I think they should fix the cyclone so I don't come off it with a sore neck and brused legs and arms. Now I just don't even bother going on it because it doesn't provide any joy. So yes they should replace the train, repaint it and fix up the queue line and station. But as Brad said, it doesn't provide a complete makeover to the ride. If they do this to cyclone I won't be complaining, but it would be good also if they refurbished the river rapids or log ride.
  20. ^I just think that with the Wipeout re-opening next month and the new water slide and thrill ride opening this September, the parks might want to make these the key focus for the year. And if they were to close another major ride after these all open, then depending on how major refurbishment it is, it may run into the summer holidays, when parks try to have all of their rides open. I think, like we have this year, will see what ride will be getting the upgrade in January on the scheduled maintenance list, it will close after holidays and then work will begin. That is just my opinion though.
  21. WOW. It really has worn out. It was a ride definitely deserving of the refurbishment. The claw is another ride which needs a fresh coat of paint.
