  1. With the gravity ride they could have something similar to space mountain. This would fit the theme of gravity and plenty of effects could be added. It could almost be a more thrilling version of the Scooby Doo spookey coaster.
  2. The parks already apps so they could easily update them to feature this
  3. Or for people who have a VIP Pass they get free locker hire. I think that even the though the app idea might sound good at first, it will probably be more of a hassle.
  4. Wet n Wild: I don't think they need anything else at this stage, they are pretty good. Movie World: They need to do something with the old LTRR building. As I have said a number of times, I would like to see something similar to the ride in cars world in disneyland, obviously on a smaller scale. Sea World: Well since they have reclaimed the land now, they need something that is really good. I was looking forward to WILD, so I would like to see this, but otherwise something thats interactive, like dinosaur island. Also, even though Sea Viper has been at the parks for many years now, I think they should just replace all of the track, if that is what is causing issues. Dreamworld: I think its good what they are doing with Wipeout. As they are removing Reef Diver they should have a new attraction that hasn't been seen on the Gold Coast before. It won't be something to big, but it can use the area of RD and the old octopus ride. As we have all said they need to do something with the mine ride. I would quite happy to see something similar to what it was or Scooby-Doo there. And as I have said plenty of times, they need to upgrade the train of Cyclone and repaint the queue line and remove the turbine. WWW: Just add another tower with 2 or 3 slides. Ones similar to the ones at WNW Sydney that aren't already on the Gold Coast, like the Tantrum or bombora or typhoon.
  5. That wouldn't work because I work in a supermarket and if people give me their phones to scan an offer or loyalty card and they don't ever work, because the scanners are not able to scan screens, so I have to write in the barcode number. So basically, it is a good idea, but won't ever work.
  6. That could be a possibility, but I personally don't think they will. I would think that the hole would be an entrance (But for now easy accessibility). I would like to see some sort of track ride (Not driving cars, they have already got one of them right next to the building). I have said this before, but I think they should have a ride similar to the one in Cars World at Disneyland, where you are in vehicles and you go through an area slowly and then zoom out. Obviously it will be no where near as big, but I think it will be a good addition to the park.
  7. Either the hole in the building is for where the entrance for the new ride would be, but for now it is so they could move things in and out of the building more easily.
  8. I agree with that, but they just want to get as much money out of people as possible. The same reason why sea world haven't removed the train gate.
  9. Sorry, I quickly read it and didn't take full notice of the sarcasm.
  10. You say he will likely get wet, but he is going to a water park where he will get wet. WnW will be a bit cold though, so I would also recommend MW.
  11. I found this photo on facebook. I think it was taken yesturday: (source: theme park social network)
  12. I don't have a pass or time. I'm just asking the people who have been recently, who have taken notice. I'm not asking people to go out of their way.
  13. The Theme Park Social Network Facebook page just posted that they saw construction workers entering and leaving the building. They might finally be doing something.
  14. Has anyone been on the ride recently? Anymore changes and does the water feel cold now? ALSO, has anyone got any pictures of the Sea Viper's latest maintenance?
  15. I would also like to see Dreamworld build a new roller coaster. When I messaged them a few months back about new rides coming to WWW and a replacement for the mine ride they said they they have a couple of major plans they will be starting within the next couple of years, they just have to save up first. Thats what they said, so something is happening, but we will be waiting a bit longer for another roller coaster.
  16. I think once they have finished this, then they should focus on fixing Cyclone (new train and get rid of the turbine)
  17. Before they put the sealant on they would have filled any holes or chunks of wave they had broken off over the years. It's good to see that Dreamworld are investing in giving a popular ride a facelift, instead of getting rid of it. Good job Dreamworld.
  18. WWW also do. The other parks say your not aloud to, but a few snacks in a bag are fine (I've done that plenty of times). I just usually leave an esky in the car with sandwiches and other food in, so when i leave I either get a stamp out or just scan my pass again.
  19. That cliff face is a part of the set for Dwayne Johnsons new film San Andreas. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2126355/
  20. So in summary you don't like the food, service and the un-updated website. I do agree that WNW's food isn't the best, but I usually just take my own food from home anyway. It's cheaper and I know that it is good.
  21. The gold coast theme parks Facebook page just posted this: We can OFFICIALLY announce that as of the April 28th, the Reef Diver at Dreamworld will close and be removed from the park. There is no word of what will replace this ride, but we can assure you that we will release this information soon. I had a look on the dreamworld website and this is correct.
  22. I have been on a rainy day before. I was there for opening and it was very grey. It rained for nearly all the day. It was during early March when I went (This was a couple of years ago). Obviously the surf rider does not operate if it is very heavy rain and if the lightning gets bad then they will close some/most of the rides. It usually goes keep the large crowds away, especially on a day like today when it is very overcast this morning. Most rides I found had a maximum wait of 20 minutes. I would say you will easily be able to do all the rides today, the water might be a bit cold though.
