Dinosaur island closes this weekend so we might start to see some changes. Has anyone been recently and taken a photo of the sand fill progress?

We might just have to wait for a parkz update before we see any photos of the changes being made, unless someone goes to Dreamworld soon and takes photos.

What did you think of the show?

Just a few of the changes made to the Corroboree area and wipeout rebuild.

I found this info on Wikipedia: The revolving platform was stopped in 2005 due to safety concerns. The gas pipeline was removed in 2008. And by the end of 2009 the pre-show was removed.

I totally agree. At least they just didn't leave it as just a blank and boring ramp. I think it would have been good if they placed a couple of street stalls in front of it and one of them was tilted over so it might have looked like they driving up the stall roofs. Just an idea. Also, the first show is at 11am

For me its definitely the storm coaster. i went on it at around 11am and was still wet when I left at 5pm. And it was a hot day.

I think they should also but something in front of the ramps, just so they don't look out of place. Even if it was a mini shop or something. Also maybe they have got that mattress there as the show is about filming a movie, so they show how the stunts r done.

I messaged sea world asking if the wild attraction was still happening and they just said this information has not yet been released. I would say they do have plans, otherwise they wouldn't be removing dinosaur island.

Even though th smoke isn't as thick, there aren't as many lazers and the music doesn't always play as loud. It's still a great ride.

You say that, but I don't think they have a show anymore. I think the last time they had it was just before Fright Night 2013. It was in the building where the Hill Billy 2 Maze was. I do agree though. On the note on the western show near wild west falls, i think they should get rid of it. They should build a new building/area to the left of the ride, where they could have a good cowboy show. Maybe one similar to old Police Academy show, but based on cowboys and don't have the cars (just so that the shows will be different). A comedy cowboy styled show, which featured stunts, etc. It could be put on the land just to the rid of wild west falls. Just an idea.

I agree with what you have said. I enjoy all of the rides and the themeing is great on most of the rides. Most changes that have been made were for the better. I would like to see superman be brought back to the park. The only things I want the park to do is remove the old china town theming on Main Street and do something with the LTRR building. I'm sure I will think over a few other things, but that's the main things.

Thanks. I can understand why the got rid of the sparks, but they should have kept the smoke and wind. It's still a great ride though.

I was just wondering before the fire at the top of Wild West Falls, what was there? I never got to go on the ride before the fire as I wasn't tall enough.

Of course they aren't struggling financially. If they were they wouldn't have just spent $20 million on a ride. If you had said Dreamworld then maybe, but Sea World, No.

That's what was great about LTRR. Everyone in the family enjoyed it. I do hope they do something similar, I doubt it though.

I would be quite happy if they just built another river ride that provided a different experience. I don't think they would do that though. What ever they put in their it needs some sort of story

Maybe it will be the entrance to the thing that will replace it.

I've never heard Arkham Asylum have sound, but I was aware that it did have them built it. What is the sound that plays???

They still might be upgrading the enclosure. I think it needs it.
