  1. Scheduling would be a good idea. The water parks have done it plenty of times over the years. WWW in particular used to do it often (BRO and RIP would alternate for example). WNW used to do it to with the Mach 5 as an example. Scheduling rides that aren’t as popular like, Doomsday, Batwing, GL and Justice League would work. The rest should be open all day as they are the most popular.
  2. I’d say it’s because of the amount of staff off currently due to Covid or awaiting results, unfortunately there isn’t much they can do
  3. I visited the parks on one of those days and they were both very busy
  4. I think the crowds were bigger last summer because the weather was nicer And I believe before that (2019) was one of their biggest summers in a while, with the carpark overflowing for a week
  5. I’d say a small part is the river rapids, but a big part is all the ride closures that have happened, so the park is seen as not having enough to offer and therefore is quieter than MW.
  6. @DaptoFunlandGuy thoughts on all the nostalgia brought back for making memories event while you were at the park?
  7. They should probably also look at getting a family log ride attraction
  8. In regards to Cosentino, I didn’t see it myself but I heard similar comments from a few other people too. They’ve got two wiggles shows this Wednesday and in the past they’ve been outside and chaotic. This time they are in the exhibition centre and imagine they will be even more chaotic if the Cosentino shows are anything to go by
  9. I always thought a pirate ship ride at SW would be a good choice 😏
  10. I’d say it’s 80% complete. They’ve poured the slabs for the queue, the station building externally is built, so we don’t know how much they’ve done internally. The track is complete, that’s most of the hard work and is certainly not just half of the job, it’s way more than half.
  11. That’s what it said last year too. The park is open from the September school holidays to the Easter school holidays
  12. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with you on this, but curious to hear more of your reasoning?
  13. Surfrider will be closed until September. That means it has been closed for 3.5 years.
  14. I don’t think I’ve mentioned this yet, but a bit of trivia for everyone. The lockers for the ride are actually the old lockers from the Wipeout. They were kept because they were still in perfect condition. They just had a bit of work done and a repaint.
  15. Off the top of my head there is one at the WB Park in Abu Dhabi
  16. I remember having the pizza a couple years ago and it was nice. I thought the price was a lot for one slice, but it’s a pretty big slice with a lot of toppings. I would be more inclined to get the chicken over the pizza though. It may cost more but it’s more of a meal.
  17. In the family suspended layout I do love how the track dives underground, I’ve always wanted a coaster on the GC to do that (I know ST sort of does, but not entirely). I do hope one of the parks gets a dive coaster one day (I think DW would be a good choice because it could be too similar to GL if MW got it). But the one coaster I dream our parks will get one day is a flying coaster. The one at Universal Japan is still my favourite coaster ever and would love to be able to continuously experience something like that in Aus. In saying all that, I think some family attractions are needed most at MW and I think 3 coasters are a nice choice for that.
  18. I don’t think we’ll see an announcement until mid year at the earliest. Demolition will begin early to mid this year. There is a possibility they could open next summer. These smaller scale coasters go up pretty quick. Just take LPS coasters as an example, the track for the smaller coasters was up within weeks
  19. According to their website they’ve moved, so unless they’ve sold it or running it for the holidays as well. I get the new location is more central, but it’s very hidden amongst all the buildings and then tucked in an alley way. You can’t see it from the main road through surfers either.
  20. Last month. But as always, it doesn’t look anything like the original concept artwork (there’s a couple posts on Instagram)
