Greg Yong shared on his Instagram story that wiggles bay has had a repaint. The wave pool was indeed resurfaced and the garden beds have been redone too

@franky now I looked at it again, yes it does.

The main issue I have with that POV is the GoPro settings weren’t turned off to stop that weird motion that happens when inverted. But I didn’t think it was that bad, much better than Rivals. Rivals was so bounce and the video quality was much lower. If that setting was turned off it would’ve been so much better. It does help capture the speed of the ride and how much fun it will be, but it’s definitely not @Slick quality. Maybe you should just show up Slick with your stuff and ask them?

Just drove past and all the coaster track and station lights were on. Looked pretty good

Don’t they sometimes do pull through tests after full track testing has begun?

Fair. That time it was someone who messaged my page saying they saw it, I trusted their message and shared that. This time, it’s someone who I’ve been in contact with for years and has provided reliable information every time

@Slick your AA video is a perfect example of this. It was such a rough coaster and you managed to capture one of the smoothies POVs I’ve seen And I know you did quite a few at DW too, so I’d like to think they’ve have you back to capture one for ST. Unfortunately based off your posts the other day, that doesn’t seem likely

VRTP themselves describe it as immersive precinct. Based off Vortex, it definitely isn’t going to be immersive

They haven’t even built the station or maintenance building yet, so we won’t see testing for a while now. Id say the reasons the construction was delayed from September to summer, haven’t been resolved. So I’m not expecting them to open until Easter at the earliest. I’m sure VRTP won’t mind anyways because of the border closures, etc

Didn’t get photos, but there was some new seating being stored behind the fencing next to the site offices out the front of the park. The seating reminded me of the look of a fidget spinner. There was also some fake thematic rock work too (only one small piece, so not sure where it’s for)

The old maintenance shed was demolished wasn’t it?

Does anyone think some work has been done here? Or is it just scrap from TOT removal? And Dreamworld management, if you are reading this, PLEASE, clean up the Central Park Station before you relaunch the train. this is not a good look

I would love them to hold off and get all this work done first. This corner of the park has been a mess for years and they are slowing fixing it up. But I agree, they should hold off officially opening the ride until December when all of this work will hopefully be done. If the coaster is ready, do a soft open. The parks 40th birthday is on December 15, so I think that should be the offical opening of the coaster. Hopefully the train will also be done by then, so they can have a massive launch event and birthday celebrations. Officially opening this coaster while there is still work to be done isn’t a great look IMO. Finish this area of the park off, make it look awesome and then they can celebrate all of that. I am hoping that BS is removed before ST opens, so they can clean up that site too.
