I think it’s safe to say that the rides theming will not look anything like the concept art

So great to have the Wipeout back and great to finally see vertical construction 4 months late

With the other demolition works happening throughout the park right now, there is a chance it will be demolished soon. But I’d say they are just removing the ride signage for now (basically so it’s not advertising the ride) and it will be demolished at a later date

Finally... that’s been a long time coming. Most likely related to it being around the area of the entrance to the new coaster. I wonder if we will finally see Blue Lagoon demolished in the near future

When I visited in early December the queue for backwards riding was about a dozen people long and it took almost an hour to get through, with two trains

What I’ve heard about this new guy is he isn’t good. If something isn’t making money or getting people’s attention, it will be removed or changed, no matter how iconic or important that thing may be. He’s all about that money. I was very disappointed to hear the new that Iger was stepping down, even though we knew it was coming. He has done some iconic things and I hope it doesn’t go down hill from here. I would say for the next couple of years we will be alright because most of things things are already planned or underway. But from say 2023-25, that’s when the Chapek wave will kick in.

Of the four versions of the name, which one do people prefer? Gold Coaster GoldCoaster The Gold Coaster The GoldCoaster

Great to see it finally receiving a fresh coat of paint. But it definitely doesn’t rule out that name. Maybe the tracks colour will alternate between yellow and blue? Considering four different versions of the Gold Coaster name have been listed for trademarking, it’s pretty much confirmed at this stage, that will be its new name

Generally, aren't those building further away and not something guests can walk right past? In another news, well done SW on this great artwork

Looks like we will be getting that theming

Because it costs a fortune to make staff work on those days and those things take a lot longer to check than you may think
