So that pretty much confirms the type of ride. The streetscape elements for the characters sounds interesting. As well as the number of park improvements. I'm going to say this includes WWF upgrades, maybe a SE repaint.

^Seems a bit out the way really. Why not have it in that patched area next to the lair. Wouldn't that make more sense, or is that path used by staff and any machinery for access into the park? It just wouldn't make sense to have tigers in Ocean Parade. And it's a bit of a crap spot anyway to put something like this. I do hope this isn't true, otherwise DW are going backwards again.

I'm very much looking forward to these attractions. I think it is safe to say it will be in the currently fenced off area. It would have been nice to have a ride themed to something seperate from the DC Universe. But as stated, DC comics are as popular as ever, and with the number of films coming out in the next 5 years based on the character, it's fitting. And just because it's themed to something some people aren't happy about, isn't going to stop them from riding it, and if they like it and the area is themed well, then people will stop complaining. I do this however that the two DC comics area will need to have some link, and as said, this probably won't happen until the coaster is installed, if it is between the areas. There seems to be plenty of space for a coaster, which could have the station and queue in the sound stage, which could allow for some very immserve theming. If those smaller buildings were removed, then that is a large space for a coaster, and could be MWs largest. That could then provide a linking path to the courtyard of AA. I'm also thinking that the area will be opening on the first FN of the year, and maybe the exclusive preview of the area for the pass members will get to see the area and ride DD during the day leading up to the FN.

When I was at DW yesterday the train had broken down, and maintenance were doing work to it in the main station, so I'm assuming they couldn't fix the problem so they've brought out the steam one until fixed.

I'd forgotten that they weren't removing it. So yes that means I'm referring to the whole corner of the park being Tiger Island. Do people think then that they will be doing the plans that were stated on here last year, where a grand stand will be installed to one side?

But if there aren't any queues at MW then you can get it done in a morning. And even with small queues. My sister and I could go to MW for the opening and get all the rides done about 12. For people have been to the park, then MW is a half day park, but if you don't have a pass or have never been before, you can make it a full day. Its the same with DW, we'd go on what we want, and go home at lunch time. But if we did all the rides then we'd probably get it done by 2. But then there is Tiger Island and Corrobee. I like all the parks because they all off something different. MW does have some better qualities rides (theming), but DW has some great rides also. Something I'd wish DW would get is a big show. Maybe something like a Gold Rush/Western stunt show to go in the area where the Big Brother stage is. The same style as Police Academy, that comedy stunt show, but to fit the appropriate theme. I feel like that is the one thing DW is missing, besides another major coaster.

Staff member at Tiger Island said that it will be closed from Feb 29.

^That does seem very likely. The entry would be through that gate at the end of the path past JL. And that area seems like a decent size for a coaster. But I think it would be nice to see a coaster themed to something other than superheroes. Don't get me wrong, I won't complain if it is. I welcome all new rides if done well and I enjoy superhero films, but if I was put behind the show stage, it would likely be themed to the western area, and that would good to have in the park, in my opinion.

Just been to DW and these posts have been put almost all the way around, at this point I can't figure out what it's going to be, I'm imagining a fence, but not sure how that will work with the space. There were also quite a few workmen walking in and out of the Kevin hill building. Im thinking once the Cubs can move into the main enclosure this whole corner of the park will he fenced off so major works can begin.

Despite dmh being new to the forums, I 100% believe the part about WWF. It's closed 13th June to 28th August which is a large amount of time to get a mountain repaint and special effects overhaul done. I'm hoping they introduce some new ones, and put them in the places where some have been removed and are now kind of dead space. And September opening and it not being a roller coaster I believe. Since they are opening a coaster as well, I'm going to say that not long as this new ride opens, they will begin construction for the coaster, which will use the sound stage (for the queue and station) and then the main section of track would be behind it and it would open in either September or December (depending on how big of project it is) next year.

But the enterance may be from Tiger Island side. Or maybe the front of Kevin hill will be another enterance to Tiger Island.

If POP was more reliable then I would believe this, a part from the name. Not saying that the pricing part isn't true, I'd believe that, particularly when it's supposed to be the worlds best. Wait and see. As said in the latest Parkz News, maybe they are going to announce something early March, once new passes are available.

I'd say that set was removed years ago, and that's how a FN maze fits in.

I was there this morning as well. And could see inside the building and it's looking pretty empty. I'm not sure if there was things being stored inside it before construction work began, but now it looked like it is. Just a couple of off topic comments that I've never noticed this morning. When on SE, just before you go through Metropolis Station in what I thought was a theme-less section of track I noticed themed pipes hanging from the roof that were separated (as if the gas had blown from them), and there was sound playing as if the gas had blown. Either this has just something that hasn't been turned on when I've ridden it, or I've just never paid attention to it. Also, regarding WWF behind the inside section of queue, there is a door at the back (which I've noticed before), but behind it (which you can only see once on the ride), is an outdoor section of queue covered by a shade sail, and it was quite a large space. Just out of curiosity, does one know when this section of queue was last used, or is has it not been used for years now as the ride doesn't get as long of queues as it did when it first opened?

^The Coomera exit is even worse, and causes queues from every direction, mainly due to the amount of schools in the area. And I'd say this exit is the main one used for DW anyways.

That makes sense if they are doing this ride. And would look better in the park, raher than 2 tower rides right next to each other.

^I did think that, why another tower ride. But if it provides a completely different experience, then there is no reason not to. And he is a villain in the DC comics. If that is the ride, that would explain SE maintenance schedules. Also, the demolition continues (TPSN)

Got a pass and went to DW for the first time in a couple of years (except for night events). Park is looking good. Checked out MS, and I thought Brock's garage was done well, just isn't overly popular. And the HWSW has much more comfortable seating (with room to put my legs now) and better brake and lift hill system. The track was still rough, but didn't find my head banging against the restraint. I do think in the queue line that some netting should be put around the top between the walls and shading, as birds are getting in and crapping on the tower.
