At this point in time I don't feel like this will be a good attraction, but we only know the very basics. The final product might be better than we expect, but I'm not feeling to confident about it.

I personally can't see Dreamworld getting a power surge. I think they will get a star flyer.

It is going on new land. The land behind the Buccaneer Bay play structure and next to constrictor. And I don't think that they will remove it at all.

At work today I had a customer who is a security guard at movie world . I was speaking to her about Carnivale and she said she got to taste the food that will be offered and she said it is some of the best food she has seen at movie world. She might just be saying that because she works there, but she was pretty convincing.

Just out of interest, when did the current CEO get their job? Would that have something to do with all the things happening to the park this year?

It is Magic VIP Gold Pass. It is the exact same as the Gold pass but Carnivale is added to it.

That would be good if they made roadrunner roller coaster longer to extend into the building. However, the new ride there are building might actually be something that goes around on a track and takes you through a story. MAYBE. so it may take up the building. If it does, it better be good and be a family ride.

Queues are usually pretty short. It is a good time of year to go, if you can survive the freezing water of some rides. At both parks, I believe the only water that is heated is in the wave pools and kids area. The rest are usually pretty cold. However some rides stay heated due to the tunnels, resulting any heat to stay inside the tunnels making the water warm. Rides such as the black hole, constrictor, river rapids and wedgie are usually pretty warm. It is mainly the wind that gets you when you are going up the towers (particularly the mach 5 tower). I always found the tornado and green room to have freezing water, for some reason, but that could just be me. So if you go, prepare to be cold at times, unless you wear a wet suit.

That is a good point and I entirely agree with one on that one. What do people want to see happen to the WB Kids area? Do people want new rides, upgrade, re-paint, re-placement, etc?

That's what I was thinking. Maybe it is not what we think it actually is. Maybe it is the kids driving school, but maybe it is more than cars you drive around in. I'm probably totally wrong though and it is what it is.

I can't see why they would remove the outside lane. That would provide next to no extra room. I honestly don't see how they can add an extra slide to this tower. There is no room on the RIP side of the tower. The only room is on the level of the BRO at the far end. But that goes out onto the pipeline plunge and a small grassed area, which I don't think provides enough room for a slide (as shown by Gazza).

Is there any sign of where the new Food Outlets and Coffee Shop will be going at Dreamworld/WWW? Or have both parks not started work on anything yet beside Wipeout and the fences and machinery underneath RIP/BRO tower?

I've always noticed they are closed, does anyone know why that is so?

Dreamworld have removed the scheduled maintenance list for WWW so maybe they are making changes because they are adding a third slide to the RIP/BRO tower.

With WWW new slide, it could be a slide that had originally planned for, but was delayed to the finical crisis. This is what it says on Wikipedia: "In October, 2007, WhiteWater World submitted a development application to the Gold Coast City Council to extend the water park. The main feature of the application was a 25-metre (82 ft) tower featuring three new water slides: two Mammoth slides and a Tornado Tantrum Alley. The expansion proposal also featured a lazy river and a large water play area. After two years, the application was approved by the council." So maybe we might be seeing this tower and one of the slides they had planned for. Or they have got something entirely different and this could be coming the future. But is something like this possible before September.

I remember in 2012 when I was there on a couple of occasions I saw a man wearing a security shirt, driving around on a golf buggy with security written on it. It seems like they aren't doing this any more.
