  1. I'd be fine if Movie World added that. I'll assume the storyline is that we're saving this churro from that big purple guy who totally isn't related to a DC property or anything.. wait... maybe the western town is transforming into a new carnival area where there will be twenty churro themed B&M's.
  2. I'd assume it's just that one staff member; as all of the times I've been there (for every ride); Ride Express is usually all let on at once. Sorry to say; but they aren't invincible; you just have to hit the targets (Or they're conveniently never using this invincibility when I visit; take your pick)
  3. Nope; I think they were just posting photos of their day at the park, and was teasing those who want it back with a photo of the ride. Seems logical, right?
  4. Dreamworld has the DreamWorks characters from the Shrek, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda films and for the younger kids, the ABC Kids World; with Giggle and Hoot and what ever other characters are involved. Regarding the WindSeeker, I couldn't find any recent issues, with a quick google search, so I'll assume they've been ironed out.
  5. Unfortunately, the test dummies haven't been there for a few months now.
  6. Could it be one of those attraction billboards. (like the ones Sea World had when they were advertising Storm and Wild)
  7. It's the new F&B Outlet. (See through the fence; the "No Parking" on the Roller Doors.)

  9. The Cyclone page has been updated... https://www.dreamworld.com.au/Home/rides/thrill-rides/Hot-Wheels-SideWinder Are you ready for an epic race? OPENING 26 DECEMBER 2015, the Hot Wheels SideWinder, is one of the tallest, high-speed gravity rollercoaster's in the Southern Hemisphere. Sitting in your own Hot Wheels car with music pumping through the carriage, you’ll speed through a reverse sidewinder and 360 degree loop and 13-storeys of revved-up, heart thumping high-speed fun. The Hot Wheels SideWinder starts out getting the tyres warmed up, gently hoisting riders 40 meters above the ground to reveal that to the right is the pendulum motion of The Claw, to the left is the sparkling blue waterpark with views to the Gold Coast Hinterland…Ahead is the centre of fury and the point of no return launching you off the grid!! Within seconds, thrill seekers are plunged down a deathly descent hitting speeds of up to 90 kilometres per hour, whipped through hair-raising loops and hurled into a screaming reverse “SideWinder”. If you think you can take it on, then be prepared to feel the full force by the Hot Wheels SideWinder as you tear around the track in this epic race!"
  10. I just want to make it clear that I am not associated with AndrewH; nor do I want to be associated with someone who trespassed private property; I simply found it while I was looking for videos of Dreamworlds past rides; saw the video, and decided to post it here, unknowing of the fuss it caused in the past. Edit: Stuff I added there ^ is in italics. I understand why you may think that though Alex, since I randomly posted the link in this thread, and then all of a sudden the creator starts posting again. (Even I found it a little weird, to be honest) But as I said, I'm not related to or know AndrewH or Xenon in any way, and I think, I'd like to keep it that way.
  11. It's most likely a branding change, Dreamworld Facebook has said that "all will be revealed soon." So I see the new rebrand being rolled out on the 26th Dec. (Also, when I replied with "I look forward to everything coming on the 26th of December then;" DW then replied "Fun times ahead for all. :)" - not that it necessarily means anything towards the Q4U upgrade/rebrand) I went back there today with a different camera and got the photos below. I personally, having been to various U.S. parks, I don't find either of them scary in the slightest. There are three variations of the system; Bronze, Silver and Gold. (Below is copied straight off the sign) Bronze: Virtually places you in the queue while you continue to explore the park. (Equal to the current wait time) Silver: Virtually places you half way in the current queue wait time. (Up to 50% Faster) Gold: Ride Express Gold Riders, please simply head straight to selected ride. (Up to 90% Faster) Disclaimer: Wait times are an approximate and subject to change. The Restaurant looks pretty decent. Sorry, the above photo doesn't show much, but oh well. I thought I'd include the above one either way, it isn't the best, and the lighting didn't help, but it gives a little bit of a glimpse inside the Motorsport Experience. There is the Milk carton container things I tried taking a picture of the visible part of the train, but my camera wasn't good enough; but it's still attached below anyway...
  12. Ahh, oops. Wasn't aware. I just want to say: I don't agree with the fact that he went through the ride, without permission, and possibly even endangered himself by doing so... Just for a horribly edited video for the internet. Yeah, that's more why I linked it here. To, hopefully, spark a discussion based on the state of the ride and not the video itself or the person who created it. Asbestos would be a problem; but it wouldn't be the reason the ride was open one day, and closed the next.
  13. I was standing on the path between the Temple of Huey tower and the Station itself, the train was back in the brake run, I could only see the parts I mentioned while looking from the direction of Pipeline Plunge. Thank you both. Also, I somehow forgot to mention, but, Dreamworld is replacing it's Q4U system with Ride Express, or Rider Express, or something of that name. The system has four tiers, but perks weren't listed, from what I noticed of the sign. Proof of this is at MDMC and Tail Spin, possibly at other rides, however, most still display the Q4U signage.
  14. Found this video someone posted in July; interesting video. The person walks the track layout. (essentially) https://youtu.be/YIM2wZD_bBI
  15. Went to Dreamworld this afternoon; First of all, my phone was not working, and the photos weren't saving, which is super convenient, I've taken over 750 photos (on the phone), but it decided not to work the one day I went there almost solely for taking photos of the park for this website. The Hot Wheels train, wasn't visible, except for the "side body parts that stick up." The side parts have the checkered flag on them, or that's what it looked like. I couldn't see much inside the station, the Containers for loose items appear to be orange milk cartoon things, I attached an image of one below, because I have no idea what they're actually called. The V8 Redline building appeared to be gutted, and the F&B Outlet looks pretty nice, much better looking than the Snack Attack that occupied the building before. They realised that it'd be closed most of the time and painted the roller doors, painted with "No Parking." There is also some other work happening in Ocean Parade, must be piping or something leading up to the edge of the old Stingray ride's concrete circle. The Entrance of the Motorsport Museum looks to be right at the F&B Outlet, and looks alright, even though it's not done yet. Can someone tell me where Carpark B is located? and could anyone here post a map that shows exactly how much land Dreamworld owns? Tower of Terror overshot the station (or I assume that's what happened, unless you need a winch for some other reason)... unfortunately, I was not on the ride when that happened. Again, sorry for not being able to get photos. Most of you probably already know everything I covered, but oh well.
  16. Could this development application have anything to do with the roller coaster? http://pdonline.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/masterview/modules/applicationmaster/default.aspx?page=wrapper&key=224930#
  17. It's was taken off around the 27th October... and considering it's not being used during the school terms, (40 weeks this year) it is a little stupid to have it on the site. While I kind of agree with this, It's nice to go into the cool (temperature-wise, not theming) arena on a hot day. I messaged DW on facebook regarding it's removal and received: "...it does come on board for Screamworld's and school holidays." So, it's not gone yet.
  18. Alright then. I should've expected that... Fair enough though, here are my ideas. 19. Hello All, As the title says; If you had the money and creative freedom to create your own theme and/or water park, which rides and slides would you choose (and from which manufacturer(s)?) You can go into as much or as little detail as you want to, cause hey, after all it's a forum. For a Water Park, I'd go with solely ProSlide; with the exception of two slides from WhiteWater West (Note: I pretty much only know of ProSlide and WhiteWater West) with other attractions from WaveLoch, Intamin (Spillwater) and Vekoma (Splash Party). Added which product because the names (Intamin and Vekoma) themselves aren't necessarily associated with water parks. For a Theme Park, I'd go with Intamin, Vekoma, B&M, Mack, Gerstlauer, S&S and Zamperla for Coasters. With other manufacturers including ABC Engineering, Technical Park, Huss, Chance Rides, Preston & Barbieri, ETF Ride Systems, Larson Intl. and WhiteWater Attractions (Prime Interactive). [Sorry for all the links, can be removed if needed] I'm not going into which rides from each manufacturer because I have quite a plan... and possibly some crude park map concepts and the likes. (I'm that dedicated) Well, I'm interested in reading your ideas.
  20. I'm not sure that this has been covered already, since I don't feel like catching up on the most recent posts on this thread. But the "Gold Coast Theme Parks" Facebook page recently posted this: "The SpongeBob ParadePants adventure is coming to an end on 10 October, so don’t miss your last chance to be transported to the wonderful underwater world of Bikini Bottom. You can still meet your favourite Nickelodeon characters at Sea World every day, plus there’s some exciting new attractions coming soon, so stay tuned for more information." and "Attractions" doesn't that hint at something larger than we may have expected. This could also mean they don't have to worry about interrupting the show with the rides, etc.
