  1. So impossible but would love a 4d robocoaster that's fully integrated with screens/projections with multiple versions to allow for extreme vs moderate thrills and can also operate seasonal versions. Impossible but would be cool.
  2. Man, the wild scenes if they open with turnstiles. Parkz will need to close for a few days to allow the internet traffic to calm down.
  3. My thoughts too, but at least they have an IP that hopefully will force a level of standard and not allow them to half arse it.
  4. I mean, they once told me Churros are healthy so I'm on the fence here.
  5. If the project reported in this article is still active, Wizard of Oz will be very relevant "soon"TM 'Wonderful Wizard of Oz' Remake in the Works at New Line - Variety
  6. That ones easy. If you make it heavy enough it will sink faster and hit bedrock quicker, stopping the sinking.
  7. Is there a source to said rumour? Or is it more speculation?
  8. There is also the highly likely chance its a combination of both, the darker sequence (I've been in one where it was super dark, and next ride, all lighter were on) and some lights weren't working which may happen to be the lights normally operating in the 'dark sequence'. Or you know, shits broke yo.
  9. Ignoring the fact it isn't open yet, Isn't Leviathan supposed to have a bunch of Air Time? or am I being wishful?
  10. When this ride had its first accident the fault was with the manufacturer I believe. The bolts used were not strong enough and fractured.
  11. Cool, glad you think that. But, standards as to whats "Safe" aren't standard globally, so height limits do change. Not just in Australia, but globally.
  12. I think you just proved how you can't compare overseas pricing with Australian pricing.
  13. Its been said before, but something like F.L.Y. would be awesome.
  14. Honestly, that just makes so much sense and I'm ashamed I didn't think of that myself already.
  15. Vekoma say 625 per coaster per hour, so adding in your 5min delay, its 200 per coaster per hour + the suspended which they say is 720 so probably around the 250 mark with your delay. Not far off really. Edit to say, super super super rough math here.
  16. Man, I read that as 750km/h and was slightly concerned with your ideals. But yes and no. There are a lot of variables that come into play. Overall though, it should eat up more than a single attraction over a period of time as maintenance can be spread out over time rather than the whole attraction close at once. But then adding 3 attractions, they would likely need more maintenance staff, ride ops and upkeep costs, so the expense is greater, will they cut budgets elsewhere like themeing or non-critical maintenance, or will the uplift in tickets, merch and food be enough to justify/cover that?
  17. Is Green Lantern down for a belated 10 year service, or is this more in line with Movieworld trying to improve operations like they are doing with WWF?
  18. MW is lacking a high capacity flat. SW has it with Vortex, DW has it with Claw. MW has Doomsday which is well.. discussed. a lot.
  19. Well they will clearly be building a World First* vekoma suspended family coaster. *Movie World first
  20. When did they announce Leviathan again?
  21. 12ft.io isn't working for me but I did see there is a Chrome extension to bypass the paywall. I can't do that until later tonight though as my work laptop is pretty locked down for installing stuff.
  22. I genuinely thought this was a typo or you didn't see a "2 for" in front of the price
  23. I get it mate, but, what if... Parkz added Turnstiles? that way we wouldn't need moderators and the system can let a specific number of people post every day. If you disagree with me you're just wrong. Overseas does it the best way. I've been overseas to overseas parks to use turnstiles.
