I called dreamworld yesterday, as i was going to renew my DW pass for my birthday yesterday. I enquired if they were going to have a dual annual pass, but guest services on the phone told me that they were not aware or had be told of that option. I called basically cause i will get both of them, but if they wre going to do a dual, i would of waited.. or it would be good to know if u can upgrade to one (if there is going to be one) at a nominated price for the ppl that already have DW ones.

yeah totally agree thre, if tickets wereselling well, i dont think the 2-4-1 would happen.

went to movieworld today, and as i was waiting at the traffic lights tornados queue was full of yellow clover tubes and ppl:) so it must be open now. stoped at whitewaterworld too, on the way home. they have clear roller doors on buildings that will be stores. there woring inside of the ticket booths. they were lifting more pieces onto tornado when i was in the cvar park. not much left for the octo racer. they have started putting small palms around the wave pool, and some small wooden poles(they look like thet would hold lantens around the pool too. the back wall of the pool looks complete too.

ive said for a ong time the ten looper would be great. it has a launch, and like they say it has pretty much every element. Plus there launches can be powerd up to 150kph. however, it says there compact but when u click on the pick it seems to have a good spread, were would DW fit something like that. DW would have to be stupid if they put in a boomerang joz-std one anyhow...if they were going to do that the woulda just bought the demon for pennies:). anyhow is this coaster going were bluelagon is.

hey guys, went to movieworld on sunday. the footer area for the new space shot, is flooded with rain water. Any how, its now 18th july, i cannot see this ride being built by september holidays. Also I guess by the footers we are getting a single tower, not like disney or knotts 3 tower shot. still 2 train opp on sunday on superman, everytime we lined up we got onto a train next ride.

well, even though DW are opening there water park at the end of the year, I cannot believe that they would sit back now, for the second time in a year Movieworld is opening a Major attraction. ( and we are talking major attractions - accelarator coasters R the the biggest and new thing, and now movieworld is going to open a space shot tower, within the sme 12 mths as superman.) Dreamworld have never graced us with 2 major rides, weve always waited the std 2 years apart. I hate to say, but Movieworld could take dreamworld now for thrills, especially with there coasters, all movieworld needs is a cpl flats, and wala, therel be laughing at DW, and i dont want that. Dw would of know it was happening too, god, i goot told by the DW staff yonks b4 any announcment as u know, about SE. so they wouldva known about the space shot too. anyhow, thats my two cents. going wet n wild tommorow for $20 yeah.

hi guys, just a quick comment. Went to movieworld yesterday and went on superman. car 2(which is 2nd last car). After the top hat coming into the overbank at the bottom, there was so much vibration and shaking that it hurt for about 10seconds, also causing me to knock my head on the harness. I thought crap, am i on lethal weapon to get a head banging. just thought id share it, i went on many other times during the day in different spots and diddnt have a problem. I just thought that it was weird, the vibration was that bad that i had to brace, you know when somethings hurtin and u try and beat the pain.lol. Im not one to complain abour how rough a coaster is, but if u wanna feel like dying, Goast rider is a good way, it hurts me big time going on it, it feels like im going to bust an internal organ, i sware i feel that i will not make it to the end, thats how bad it is when i ride ghostie. but i still do lol.

i remeber riding the chipmunk, years ago at the ekka, and the ipswicch show. Can anyone rember ther yaer the ekka got the looping coaster taipan.

I also like bombura bay..... I like the name cyclone bay..if it was a tropical theme maybe dreamworld H20 I do think they should stay away from dreamworld name though.

dreamworld used to get ppl through BTC employment at beenleigh, not sure if thats still the caes. You used to have a group interview there, then if thy liked u they would send u to dreamworld for an interview.

would MW really go for one of these tho? The GP would think its basicllay the GD, but smaller.

just a general comment: I have been on superman many times now since it has been open. My comment is, why dose superman go over the top hat at such a slow speed, its like it barley makes it over sometimes, the back of the train crawls over the top. now i know xcellarator has a faster top speed, but it is also higer too, and it pops itself over the top hat at quite a quick pace with lots of force. Maybe they should have made the launch finish right within a meter of the actual incline, thats the only reason i can see why that it dosent fly over the top hat. (i just think the accelaration cuts to short b4 the incline....any thoughts??

i noticed that the other day also, that the ride op at the load gates also comes in an now checks harness on her side of the platform. However, you dont need to man the thing like it was when it was in it's first mth of operation either, they had 2/3 ppl at the ride entrance, 2 ppl at the station doors, another 2/3 ppl on the station platfom...about 5 pp in the contol room +maintance/techs, and 2 ppl at the ride unload (1 either side). Thats excessive.

it would want to become it, because even if it started the size t is now, it has nowhere else to expand

superman was a one train operation today, i got there at 1-20 and had 4 rides with empty seats everytime.

was at DW for a little while today, all i can say is....how small do they wanna make the water park. with the new carpark being built up to the temp fencing they have placed up. there is now the block of land were its going. It is fenced now from cylone end (were staff entry is) to just past the end of the cyclone(helix) this is not a very big space at all...ADD to this we need a front entrance to the park. I just cant see much being able to go in the space, especially if we see a wave pool wnw size, there deffinatley wont be much room at all.

its funny that in america, u can take ur video cameras etc on the rollercoasters. The last time I went though, knotts berry was a no loose item place, but it wasnt other times ive been.

I agree too, dreamworld need to remove "dreamworld" from the water park name. By the way, is dreamworld waterpark the official name they are calling it or is that the name it has at present. A cpl mths back i did the search for www.dreamworldwaterpark.com.au and sure enough the name has been taken, when itdirects you to trademark the site name:) I was thinking of paying the $50 or whatever it is to register the name, if DW already hadnt, lol. Anyhow, a name like, Cylone bay, typhoon lagoon (hello disney law suit:p) soak city(i know knotts has it:P) hurrican harbour(sixflags,lol) but names like these r awsome, and would suit the goldcoast summer atmosphere.

clone it is unfortunate but look at it this way, wnvtp have now lost an oppurtunity to pack extra peeps into wnw with a 20million outlay for the xmas/summer period to have it not open. Now when it dose open thell proply get the same amount of ppl in the park as they would without the new attractions when schools back.

went to MW today, rode superman 4 times. well nearly 4 we had a ride evac on my 4th turn at the launch, and as someone said earlier- they told the ppl on the train that they cannot fast track them back to the front of the queue, and that they would have to line up again if they wanted to ride. I wasnt to fussed as the line was only 2 rows when I joined the queue b4 boarding anyhow. I went home then. I do think it is pore form on Mw's behalf to tell ppl that they dont get another go and send them packing. There were young kids yelling "its not fair that we dont get to go to the front" and adults were saying other stuff to the opps to that were letting us out the train. I had 4 rides in under 40 mins, it also was down in mid morning for about 15 mins when i was inline for my first ride of the day. I also got to ride in front today, very enjoyable.

its crazy really! the launch on xcelarator is not very long, it would of been tearin down the runway..lol. like i said b4, it crests the top hat ay a fair speed as it is, to the point the seat belt dug into me over the top. Could you imagine being on the thing, the launch would be amazing, and over the top well, it would kill.
