  1. I'm gonna guess that if MW are having what sound like custom cars made for the ride they would have any restraint/capacity issues sorted. Remember the fears about reatraints on Superman which turned out to be great.
  2. That's a fair and valid argument. Like I said, entitled to your opinion. Nice to see people basing their purchasing long term rather than just the latest thing. Gives incentive for the parks to upkeep their attractions and invest in park presentation
  3. New full circuit coaster not big enough? (if that's happening) A flat and an off the shelf shuttle better? Each entitled to their own opinion though... But when I said it was the best deal I wasn't just talking about the ride for December....
  4. Well I have been saying it's the best deal going
  5. Ah Good old staff valuing their privacy policies hey... Good luck with that
  6. ^ Has something happened to bring to light this piece of information?
  7. Wow, just wow. VRTP have gone in the right direction and actually INCREASED costs, giving the impression there is some value in their product. Dreamworld have slashed them and cheapened their brand even further. It only works the psyc of "wow it mustn't be much good if they have to make it that cheap" which is just bad for brand longevity.
  8. 100 mil got you Indy in 95!, that's over 15 years ago, and space was more than that I think. They recon RSR will be more like 200 million.
  9. I'm glad someone else shares my awesome opinion of Ghostrider because it feels like it will kill you! I don't know what that building was, nothing been there for a long long time. As for Monte, if it was open it would be worth it. It has an intensity to it that no other shuttle coaster matches, especially that loop!
  10. Ripped off? Not good? Have you guys seen the level of detail in both the external building and inside the ride? And the animatronics are amazing! Please someone correct me but I'm pretty sure thats the price tag. I mean again world of color is up around the 100 mil mark too As for shows, I don't know, next door they are running a show in a venue with some of the most state of the art gear in te country. The company is definately still in the business of high production values.
  11. I really don't see a shooter ride like MIB going into Looney Tunes... As for Mermaid, yeah that would be great but I believe it's price tag was in the 70-100 million vicinity so we're certainly not going to see that!
  12. Yep I'm with Joz, if I was a paying guest I would definately be buying the VIP Gold. I think it's a great deal and over the next 12 months I recon it will certainly re-enforce it's value for money, and that's all I'm saying. Not saying DW isn't good value but I can't really say until their rides are built and see how good they are, I KNOW the VIP pass is a killer deal.
  13. Nope that clearly says 2 rides for SW and MW, let's see what eventuates! See this is one thing I hate about the Bulletin. I searched there site and found nothing! All that came up was a tiny blurb about Shockwave, you can never find anything on there! Funnily enough the News section of the MW page is 404, strange.
  14. That seems real cool and very much value for money!
  15. As that link is broken, can we confirm it said RIDES and not ATTRACTIONS? Because the two a very different things and I don't want incorrect information to start a bloody tangent about something that might not be happening.
  16. Should have seen it this summer... 4 lane traffic jams on M1 Southbound... THAT is crazy
  17. ^^^ what's wrong with it? Btw Incidently, is anyone from here at MW today? Holy crap it's busy!
  18. Incidently, is anyone from here at MW today? Holy crap it's busy! Last weekend to use your VIP pass I'm thinkin is the reason. Incidently, is anyone from here at MW today? Holy crap it's busy!
  19. I just hope with Nick gone they can bring back the crazy rocker wizard on his scooter!
  20. Alex I'm purely speculating here but I doubt that rule would be removed/relaxed, it's the way all the US parks are and have been for years so I don't see MW changing that. It's just too much liability to have regular guests dressed like employed actors should they do anything bad. As for the map, I think its a good online map personally, totally innapropriate for print but good online. The beauty of that is that when I ride is down for maintenance (like batman is at the moment) you can remove the link on the map so you're not promoting rides people won't be able to go on at the present time. I don't hate it.
  21. I see no problem with the choice of attraction including it's size. But I think the implimentation of it is pretty lackluster.
  22. I can assure everyone Fright Nights is not family friendly and the anti will once again be upped this year. Leave your kids at home folks or take them to Seaworld for their Halloween fix.
  23. The presentation of the thing looks pretty bad. I say presentation because it doesn't seem to have ANY theming. Dont think there's much time to change that either.
  24. It's all moot anyway... 90 degrees is vertical, that's as steep as you can get. Going inverted is just that, and these drops are just a new type of inversion. All this worlds steepest is just bullshit really.
