  1. Cool! So you've also been on the Tarantula???: Because this ride (A vekoma Wakiki Wave) was replaced from Six Flags Holland (first Walibi Flevo) to Ratanga Junction!
  2. I had that in Warner Brothers Movieworld Germany! It's not easy to get a camera onboard. I had the luck in Eraser, but in Wild Wild West I had to give it away before the ride started. Why? Because I was taking pictures while standing in the waiting line :?
  3. Hehe, just what Belgian told me. Benoit, we reached what you wanted
  4. Ok, now it's my turn again! 10 onride photo's!!! http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=42 Goliath: Last turn before station http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=43 Bob at the efteling http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=44 Eraser at Warner Brothers Movieworld Germany http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=45 Expedition GeForce at Holiday Park http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=46 Free Fall at Holiday Park http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=47 La Via Volta at Six Flags Holland http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=48 Pegasus at de Efteling http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=49 Roadrunner at Six Flags Holland http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=50 Robin Hood at Six Flags Holland http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=51 Superman The Ride at Six Flags Holland
  5. Why does that cow look so weird to me :?
  6. He Richard, funny video. First onride of this coaster I've ever seen. And flea, I'm already looking forward to your videos
  7. Believe me, I heard some people about it and the show is just as funny and spectacular as The Police Academy. I won't see it by my self this year, but maybe next year. BTW, the show is from the same producers as Police Academy if I'm right
  8. It's against the rules of any park to take objects like camera's into rides like coasters and freefall, but some fanatics don't care... What is your strangest or most risky onride photo? I start with this one, in the Stengel dive of Goliath @ Six Flags Holland. http://www.totalthrills.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=41
  9. Almost forgot!!! If you want to know a lot of this ride, just download this video (almost 100 mb!!!) http://alantaff.co.uk/stuff/Shoot%20For%20...%20-%20300k.wmv It's a beautiful documentary!
  10. The ride was one of the best for some years, even my favorite coaster. But I hear a lot from others and at the moment this coaster is a big pain machine. It's too rough to ride, even some fanatics skip this coaster. I'm glad I've been on it in the good years of this coaster, and I think it would be some shock to ride it again in rough situation. The ride was perfect. The on board music, the theming, the story, everything. But when the ride is not comfortable the rest doesn't help anymore. A fan is now busy to write a letter that everybody can send. It's really time that the park solves the problems of this coaster! --> http://www.mouse-studios.com/dc/dcboard.ph..._id=32900&page= BTW: it's not euro disney anymore for a lot of years, now it's called disneyland paris!
  11. I know that the new Huss Fly Away that was build in Bobbejaanland(Belgium) this year, costed 1,4 milion euro (that'salmost 1,4 amrican $). It's just a flat ride and still costs a lot.
  12. I know some coaster fanatics who think it's the best coaster. But most name the coaster "best of the benelux" I think it's indeed the best coaster of the benelux, but not the best in europe (That's because I know how Expedition GeForce is). As a Belgian friend of me told me, the 270 degree turn after the stengel dive is a bit to small. Also the corkscrew hills (or buckels as they are called here, don't know how you call them) are to slow. With some small adjustments the ride would be serious one of the best I know, but it isn't. But when the ACE visited it last year, they liked it very much, so you should still come over and visit Six Flags Holland
  13. This year I go to 2 parks I've never been before: Attractiepark Slagharen and Europa Park. Also after 9 years I go back to Bobbejaanland: 4 new coasters. In total 13 coasters I can add to my list! 50 + 13 = 63 8) . Still not much for someone from Europe...
  14. I do keep the lapbars a bit open in some coasters, thought I was crazy, but this is just stupid (sorry) And the park owners just allow this??? It has happend before on other coasters. So why do people still have to do this?
  15. Nice pictures! BTW, if you are interested in some pictures for the gallery of european parks, just let me know.
  16. Nice photo's! I've never seen much photo's of that themepark
  17. In the beginning they were very amazing. The mainstreet still looks great, but Batman is some sort of paint machine. Gremlins has only big waiting lines when it's Halloween, because then they retheme the ride. But normally a lot of peolple find the ride boring. The Looney Tunes ride is still fun, great indoor ride. That superman thing (also in Autralina or not) was nice to do some times, but now I don't visit it anymore because it's still the same. But it's a very great show for a movie park. When I compare everything with other parks it was a one of the best. They still can get that title back if they start to theme more again and everything nice and clean. But now, other parks like Phantasialand (not far away from WBMW G), Efteling etc are much better because they look clean and new rides are very well themed. But as you know, it's all because it's part of Six Flags European Devision...
  18. Never had the chance to ride one my self (but I've seen one when they were painting it here in the netherlands), but they seem to be very nice and smooth for a Vekoma. The catch system works properly the first time, but when it catch you backwords it gives a shock. That's all I know.
  19. The best coaster on this planet at the moment I think. Designed by Werner Stengel and build by Intamin. You can find it in a small but beautiful park in Germany, called Holiday Park. In 2002 I was there, on the 99th day that Richard Rodriguez was busy with his new record. Me and my father took a lot of shots with the video camera and some months ago I made a movie of it on the computer. I still have the video online on some free webspace. For the interested people, you can download it here: http://members.lycos.nl/coastervideos When this site doesn't work anymore they kicked me of because it's too much downloaded. But please post it here so that I can put the video online somewhere else Note: You need windows media player 9 or the right codec for this video.
  20. A real hype, those water coasters. This year I get the chance to ride the one in Europa Park 8) Another new type of watercoaster is "Fuga da Atlantide" in gardaland. Build by Intamin and it looks very strange but great fun. Some photo's: This will the ride look like when it's finished. Looks like a great type of watercoaster, maybe such a watercoaster will be build in wetnwild? source: http://www.parksmania.it
  21. Just read this and find out what an amazing project it is: Source: www.orlandosentinel.com Athough the universal group has money problems they still build such a huge and amazing rides. They always come with something new for in the themepark industry. I really have to get there in the coming years!
  22. The food in Movieworld Germany is just like the rest of the six flags parks around. You pay a lot, and you get bad food. Or... you pay even more and you have some really good food. But most people can't or don't spend a lot money. But last year I saw some improvements I've never been to Movieworld Madrid, but I heard a lot from others. Don't know anything about the food over there but never heard anybody complain about it. The rest of the park looks amazing. Hope it will stay like that.
  23. Ok, to me WBMW Australia still sounds a lot better then WBMW Germany. BTW, The Police Academy Show is replaced this year by another show. I'm not sure but I heard it's also from fxillusions (www.fxillusions.com.au). And indeed, in the beginning everything was copied from Autralia. But what I also ment to talk about are things like this: and this (this one is repaired now, but you can still see the "scars ") When such a things happen in Germany, it will stay for a year or more before they will repair. That's why I think that WBMW Australia is much more better.
  24. Indeed it makes a big difference, and I'm not happy about it. But the park in spain is only for 5% of Six Flags. Biggest part is WB and also a part is of the spanish goverment if I'm right.
