  1. You may fountain him, but he's not wrong. I can also guarantee at least 1 6pm news show will go off on a tangent for at least 30 seconds to properly remind people of the incident.

  3. Seems interesting. I will be sure to watch it. Uh, what? Anyways, I found the gondolas from Tumblebug listed on gumtree. Joylands seems to be selling them off so if you have the space and really want one for whatever reason, you can get one. https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/austral/antiques/historic-tumblebug-condolars/1267937243

  4. I was curious about this myself and I looked it up. TOT publicly was announced to have cost about $17m in 1997. With inflation, that would be about $26m in 2020. So technically Taipan is the biggest single investment. Sky Voyager publicly cost $20m but god knows how much it actually cost with all the extra bullshit they had to go through in getting it open.

  6. Far out DW fanboys, a lot of people have involvement in a project. But someone says Kudos to whoever at VRTP signed off on it, and say well direct your kudos to DW then. Then it's a case of 'No, he didn't sign off on it' and it's like 'Well he was probably involved, and who cares anyway'. Well no one does except for some reason people wanted to attribute the popular thing to their man for what ever reason, and then act like others are being pety for saying 'Nah that's not how it is'. Maybe he put wooden coasters on the radar. Maybe he said 'You should ride this'. Maybe. I've no doubt he had some involvement, but I think declaring him the person who signed off on it and the mastermind of the whole thing just seems revisionist. Realistically though, you've got to question how much sway he would have had, given he was sent off to China to languish around the same time as the contracts would have been being signed. Anyway, that's the end of the discussion who signed off on it. Further comments on the matter will be deleted.

  7. All the HUSS Rides from the park (including the breakdance) are getting scrapped, so unfortunately everything that can be will be sold off, and the rest sent to the scrap yard.
