Fright Nights 2019
New display name replied to Jay Jay The Jet Plane's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Hardly a B grade.. For it's time you couldn't even watch Marry Poppins without adult supervision. 😉 The remake move brought nothing new to the table and had no suspence or build up. I can understand why kids liked the remake but I've seen it all before. -
Fright Nights 2019

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? The remake was a real let down to the original but what would greasy teens know. The second one hasn't come out yet so you can't call it "one of the most successful horror franchises". If you do you would be talking out of your bum. IT can be a great maze but MW don't need to make shit up to sell it. -
Dreamworld's $700k chill out zone

Prefect place to chill out right next to 32 screaming riders on The Claw. MW are not the only one to have bats. Some back of house photos.- 9 replies

New Helicopter Centre Coming to Sea World
New display name replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
It's probably why the sheds look so cheap and nasty and if a helicopter crashed SW could play the blame game. Sea World Cruises are operated by Wyndham Cruises. -
@Slick Yea, you missed the point.

New Helicopter Centre Coming to Sea World
New display name replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
On the news the other week or could be fake news, they stated the helicopters are supplied and run by an outside company and it was this company that built the new hangars. -
How can it be a technical rehearsal when DW says SV open? That's like going to the opera and the fat lady doesn't sing and say we are still rehearsing. No! No! No!. School holidays are in 2 weeks and this is the dates SV ought to have opened on. DW should have made it clear this was a soft opening and SV might night open or close unexpecting throughout the day. DW putting profits before guest again.

And @pushbutton makes a great crash test dummy.
-
Look @pushbutton all the shit you have been hanging on DW wanting to add shade sails and Village prove it's onto a winner with it's full year results. "Wet’n’Wild maintained its popularity as a successful summer branding campaign drove solid attendance through December and new shade over Wet’n’Wild Junior also improved the guest experience in this area".

Fully6 - WhiteWater World's new slide tower
New display name replied to Tim Dasco's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Joe and family always notice. It’s these 1%ers that Ardent believe people don’t care about is what got DW in the poohole in the first place. People notice a diesel train. People notice a Log ride with a roof. People notice the cinema façade getting destroyed. People noticed Wipeout removal. People notice when the Vintage cars was moved. People notice when rides are down for maintenance. If you don’t think Joe and family notice you should apply to work for Ardent. -

Fully6 - WhiteWater World's new slide tower

I'm still not feeling it. I would have preferred WWW to turn the 6 slides into 3 longer body slides. OR even better, 1 big daddy slide. Call me old but I remember the day when you had to pack a snack for the walk to the top of the slide. -
Ardent to shrink Dreamworld footprint
New display name replied to Jamberoo Fan's topic in Theme Park Discussion
What happens to the train if DW repurposed the land it runs on and the track can't be shortened? -
Not really. If I had never jumped on a coaster and jumped on AA, I would still call it rough. Push being a first-time rider has pointed out some flaws. He doesn’t need to ride another one to spot them. I suspect the more people ride the more faults they will pick up. SV will be a hit and that’s a good thing, but Skeet wanted AAA I-Ride. The idea of these rides is you forget where you are and get totally absorbed into the film. Seeing the edge of the screen, low quality and unnatural movements will distract you from this.

Ardent to shrink Dreamworld footprint
New display name replied to Jamberoo Fan's topic in Theme Park Discussion
"One possible use is a hotel. The provision of hotel facilities could allow a revamped Dreamworld to serve the conference and business markets, long a staple for facilities such as Disneyland." DW is no Disney and who in there right mind would want to holiday at Coomera. With DW shrinkage the train will shrink too.😊 All jokes aside I fully expect DW to shorten the train track layout in the future. -
It isn't Disney doesn't always fly. Theming yes, nobody is expecting Disney level of theming but Brogent should be able to be on par with an 18 year-old ride system.
-
Once you fly first class you never want to fly economy again.😀 Parkz isn’t a fan page it’s a place where we “should” discuss the good, the bad and the ugly.
