  1. @xRazzBerryx I gave you a neg rep because I am sick of seeing this things face. My photo is more appropriate. @themagician Thanks for the photos.
  2. @Brad2912That's a loop. How else can they get it to work if they don't turn the world around? Anyway, if you are in the USA and could see the footings from where you are. This would be your view.
  3. That's correct @diesal11 a forum should be about discussion. That’s the problem with giving somebody a neg rep. It doesn’t add anything to the conversation and nobody knows why you gave it, if you don't add a post. If you gave a neg rep them, you obviously had a thought about what was said so why not share it with us. @reanimated35 Welcome back and don't leave me alone with @AlexB again.
  4. Why can't somebody say it's boring. Sometimes I don't get this site. If somebody doesn't like a ride and would prefer to ride something else why can't he say so? The people always giving negative rep to people just because they have a different idea to yours just shows how narrow minded some people are on here. Tends to be the same sheep that do it too. I don’t like the ride either and find it boring. It’s short. I have been on bigger slides then the final drop. If I took a 6-year-old on it, they would probably love it. I find keeping a ride around because you once loved it when you were 6 a bit strange. I would prefer a new ride to create new memories and new fun times.
  5. Flash (AKA Lightning) has 6 and Blue Fire has 5 so I'm thinking something in the middle. 5.5. @AlexB But do they have the track to carry that extra load? I would think it would be cheaper to buy an extra train instead of upgrading the whole track.
  6. @Brad2912Oh, god I just realised you sound like me with your analysts of things. Nah I want to talk about the coaster again and I believe somebody has already set up a new topic about why don't you love me mummy. I would like to talk about how many trains do people think this coaster needs or wants? I want 3. My theory is if you are already splashing out on this coaster, why stop at 2? In the scheme of things what is an extra million? (Skeet does not know how much a train cost or pretends too)
  7. We have a topic for the new coaster and this is going to confuse skeet if we have 20 different conversations about the same ride. You can just ask a question without creating a poll. @Tim Dasco Thank you
  8. @Jamberoo Fan A. Adjusting nut B. Adjust and lock bolt together C. Lock bolt open. If you adjust one of these connections up or down. You will move the top of the pole by its length. In theory, the longest pole on Mr Hyper Coaster would be around 60m If you adjusted one of the connections up or down by 1cm you could move the top of the pole by 1.2m Once track is complete and all adjustments are made. The lock nuts are locked and the area between the footing and metal plate are filed with concrete. Why did I tell you this. No reason at all. Just had 5 min to kill at work
  9. Thank you @Theme Park Girl I clipped your photo. This is the footing that a couple of members thought would fall over if hit by a car.
  10. What to you expect. One day they are talking about coasters and the next day this. This mum experienced four pain-free labours — before enjoying a three-week orgasm
  11. As far as I know the sign it still above the door. All these theme park enthusiasts and nobody has spotted the sign. There is a photo somewhere in the forums that shows the cottage. Free positive feedback for the person that finds it.
  12. @razza1987 It's not a house. It's a very small cottage and no to your question.
  13. The site that Dreamworld now occupies once belonged to John and Sarah Williamson, some English cattle raising family who in 1874 decided to name their house Hollywood Cottage, and thus placing this name on a hardwood beam, which was then placed above their front door. Their original cottage still stands intact on Dreamworld grounds, as part of Gold Rush Country, where the descendants of the Williamson’s stayed on until 1989. When DW first opened gold rush the blacksmith in gold rush was the guy that lived in the house. The dude and I believe his wife lived in the house for 3 years after Gold Rush was opened. The house remains and there is a photo floating around somewhere on parkz.
  14. DW announced today that flowers laid outside the park by mourners in the days following the tragedy would be turned into a permanent living memorial inside the park. He said Red Cross volunteers were caring for the tributes and would advise how best to use the flowers in the memorial. Items such as cards and notes were being digitised by Dreamworld staff to be included.
  15. Pop will complain soon that somebody is deleting his/her post.
  16. I have thought of doing that but skeet is a bit scared that @Richardwould give him up.
  17. @loki75 I wouldn't be uploading any plans to parkz just yet. I know when I tender out jobs that require the project to be discreet, I get builders to sign privacy forms. There are a few people on this site who have seen the final or concept plans and you need to ask yourself why haven’t those people uploaded what they have.
  18. @AlexB It's going up and down too. If you look to your left on the ride you will see the M1 sometimes.
  19. I don’t know if the land would be worth 250 million to developers. The Queensland government current land value is 135 million. If the land was changed from its current use to something else, then I would be surprised if Ardent got anymore then the undeveloped value of the site. Unless you are saying the developers would make 250 million. I thought Ardent sold the other block of land which is around 1/5 of what’s left for 10 million. I do agree that Ardent do have stormy seas ahead. I suppose it just depends on how big Ardent's boat is and how long it can take a battering.
  20. I don't think she succeeded because she never stopped singing about it.
  21. The engineer are the ones that sign off their own work. A private certifier will ask for a certificate from the engineer that the ride complies. A private certifier does not have the skills to say if a ride will run safely or not.
