  1. The closing of the thoroughfare between the parks has been mentioned before. (and we all agree, it sucks) The gate was original located in the Flowrider shop which made sense, because the staff of the shop would let you through. DW have since created a dead area at the back of the park, which have created challenges with accessing WWW from DW. DW had a staff member on a gate to check passes. DW removed staff member and DW & WWW became one park. DW went back to staffing the gate. DW locked the gate. If the arcade was moved to the thoroughfare location, where guest from DW & WWW could utilise the arcade and the staff of the arcade, could control the movement between the parks, this might work.
  2. There was a fair amount of lights not working, DW might be changing, to a light, that is more reliable or cheaper to replace when it stops working.
  3. Instead of having one train waiting for the train in the station to be loaded, you now have 2 trains waiting. Sounds like a great idea @Dean Barnett
  4. @Dean BarnettYou're adding a train, you're adding an extra maintenance bay. Where are you adding the extra block to safely run 3 trains?
  5. MW can't load one train efficiently so I don't know how throwing more trains at the staff to load, fixes the problem.
  6. DW fiddling with annual passes suggest to me, major investment into DW has finished for the time being.
  7. Let's speculate before we find out the truth.🤣 My speculation.
  8. The benefit of having 2 trains, is the ability maintain the train, not in use during the parks quiet periods, reducing downtime of the ride. This is what the good parks do.
  9. Even if MW was the first (which they weren't) Village in the past have been know to put terms in their contracts, to protect their investment.
  10. TNT was getting built while MW were telling staff. It's a total MW cockup. Obviously GW had already purchased the ride before MW.
  11. It was always going to be that way because MW always operates like this. The purchase of a dueling cost is mind boggling, if you're mostly not running it to duel. Copying Gumbuya World suspended coaster was also mind boggling. After selling DW's and MW's car park over the weekend. It's easy to know which theme park is stumbling.
  12. Worse, but as I said, maybe someone got to the volume controls who shouldn't have, the day I went. If you start selling, whatever you're taking, you will be rich.
  13. You retract that statement @Gazzabefore I smack you with my MW stick.
  14. I went to DW over the weekend and DW was pumping. Let’s hope the weather holds up over the holidays and DW have a banger. It’s been a little while since I’ve been on JR so I thought I would give a little update. DW are continuing to add to JR, some things are positive and some things less positive. The rope around the bamboo intersections has been replaced and glued into place. It looks more durable than the first attempt, but time will tell. Every time I have queued for JR I have complained how hot and stuffy it was but I am pleased to announce I experienced the cooling system for the first time. There are pockets it doesn’t reach but overall, it was much better. The dinosaur poop still looks shit, and I also noticed it is taking DW a long time to get the second waterfall working. Management of DW and Pico Play ought to walk through Rivertown on their knees and they will soon realise kids can’t see anything through the fencing. Why DW went with the backyard privacy fence, I will never know. The bats & water feature inside the main show room look good but I still believe smoke screens should be added to where the trains enter & exit the temple. Only one TV in the station was on, which was a little strange but for the most, loading of trains was first class. On the weekend was the first time I experienced a queue of over 10mins and it could be why I never noticed it before because I have never stopped in any part of the queue for more than 1min or the work experience kid has got their hands on the volume control. The main show room in the queue, I am renaming it to the torture room. I was in that room for 5mins, and I wanted to rip my ears off. Multiply people had their hands over their ears trying to shield themselves from the ear-piercing sounds. Never have I been in queue, anywhere in the world that has the atmosphere sound, turned up to over rock concert levels. It was that painful, that I only rode JR once. DW you need to carry out some test and make sure the torture room is safe because 6 hours later my ears were still ringing. Blaring sounds at people isn’t adding the desired atmosphere. I also believe as the train passes the windows, it should be lit up because nobody even notices it going by.
  15. Eats 270 at Scenic World has the best views but the food wasn't amazing.
  16. In reality, it isn't a big issue, the contractor will be asked to come back and fix their work. Standard clause.
  17. Sounds like it went down for maintenance just before you turned up @franky
  18. It went down for regular maintenance and Six Flags couldn't get the parts required to reopen it. Your Village derangement syndrome is showing @Baconjack
  19. It's great DW is changing it up. Here's hoping DW fixed the blurry issues, while the ride was down.
  20. In this picture you can clearly see, the front wheel assembly of the front bogie, has separated from the track.
