  1. Even if you can save it why the hell would you @pushbutton? The ride was crap. After the TTR incident DW shouldn't be staying away from thrill rides they should stay away from in-house rides.
  2. Hahahahahahahahaha. This is DW we are talking about PUSH who currently have the niche of self-destructing.
  3. DW keep going and remove this outdated pile of rubble that you want to call a coaster. DW should've bulldozed it instead of wasting their money.
  4. Why do theme park enthusiasts think they are better than anybody else? I’ve see people from this site laughing at DW predicament and I’ve seen other people like the co-host of Park Chat Live calling people potato heads on DW Facebook site. I haven’t seen one person besides Alexb construct a reasonable argument on DW Facebook page. It’s embarrassing as a community that we act like this. The parks must really laugh at us. If you don’t know how tigers should be looked after and let’s face it, most of us don’t (including me) than we should keep our mouths shut. Just because it’s happens in a theme park doesn’t suddenly make us an expert on tigers.
  5. Log ride update that I stole. If you believe TPSN these are motors for the lift hill.
  6. If they are going after that market on the coast they will have a lot of competition. I hope they can deliver a bucket for $7.00 because that's what I pay just up the road and I'm allowed to hit them on the lower or upper levels.
  7. I read it as you think it's animal abuse. I believe this is common practice from all tiger handlers and I have seen it at DW myself. You see it more with the cubs but they get a tap on the nose.
  8. TP is not a glorified driving range. Nobody is going here to practice their golf swing.
  9. Red circle is top of screen. How the net works in this area = I have no idea but it's not the standard TG setup. + The supports for the net are the circles with the dots in the middle.
  10. Don't forget grasshopper a path from the front car park runs along the inside of the blue screen. People entering via this car park will need to be protected also.
  11. @AlexB By the look of them they will be on the outside of the net. (I know you did a joke but thought I would be a smart ass)
  12. MW sold half the tree to help pay for Rivals.
  13. @pushbutton go inside. It's a new dark ride just for you.
  14. From the local council member. We have had a couple of emails from local residents regarding the ‘brightness’ of feature lights atop of the new roller coaster at Movieworld. From a City Planning perspective Officers from Development Compliance have advised the new roller coaster is defined as “a Tourist Attraction and is an accepted use in the Major Tourism Zone in the City Plan, as such there is no development approval or conditions relating to the roller coaster that can be used to enforce any perceived amenity impacts or light nuisance from the structure affixed to the top of the roller coaster”. In addition Officers also advised “...like the “Green Lantern” ride lights, the lights do not meet the definition of ‘advertise’ in the local law, which includes the use of any temporary advertising device or permanent advertising device for the sale or exposing for sale, or for the purpose of publicising any matter. They are lights on a roller coaster, which we do not regulate”. Finally, a Senior Enviromental Health Officer attend one complainants property and “...measured light pollution at a bedroom window from the sign at the top of the Hypercoaster. Max 1 lux light spill observed. No observable nuisance based on this reading...” PS no noise complaints logged (yet) regarding screams from guests riding the roller coaster upside down / backwards...
  15. It's wouldn't be worth your while @themeparkaddict because all arguments are based on assumptions. DW are in a bucket load of horse poo if they think I'm willing to renew my pass this year when is staring to look like a scene straight out of Boyz In The Hood.
  16. There is only so many ways you can play dress up with a seal before it's not fun anymore and as the saying goes, “you can’t teach an old seal new tricks”.
