Literacy program's are not included within the Employment contract. However sound English skills are essential, unless you are applying for one of the roles that deal with the other languages of guests. Such as Japanese tour guides.

Corkscrew down for maintenance... during xmas holidays >:(

I never said there was anything wrong with the retro trains. IMO they are more comfortable than the newer Arrow trains like Cyclones. The seats are so squishy -
Give us some Turbo Tunnels off those towers
-
Well, the Vortex building could be used as part of the queue line. But if you look at a typical Laser Skirmish layout, they have the "briefing area" as well as an "Amoury" of types. So maybe this is what Mickey saw with the structure.

Whoa... are they getting rid of the JetStreams?! They were only reasonably new rides, but very painful at the same time. I wonder if they will get rid of the Sidewinders too, as they could build something even bigger using the whole footprint of both slides. Thanks for the update anyway I might have to take a sticky beak one day.

Give us some new Vekoma trains However... I like the old school look of the rides trains, something about those pointed Arrow trains just spells "Retro" to me. -
Vortex is currently in "Long Term Storage" It's future however is uncertain. It may end up being sold to a traveling showmen or possibly re-themed or relocated within the park. I don't really see many showmen wanting that particular unit as it is very old and does not run anywhere near the speed a Gravitron should be running.

I don't really see how bright colors are inappropriate for Wiggles World. I can understand about Motocoaster however. The Wiggles are after all a children's group, and the area is targeted at children. The Wiggles were always bright and bubbly as such, so I feel that the colors are justified however it is all faded now. -
It was a typo... when I copied the info from the DW site it copied that full text. If you go onto the Dreamworld page it has a link to the page. But nothing much is there until the 27th of March. So maybe a Mod could edit the title for me?

Opening April 10th. Keep an eye out here for more information and an exciting Recruitment Test coming March 27th! So now it seems that we have a name for the new Laser Skirmish attraction. And on the website it states that it is "Included in the Entry Price"

Spray tan gone wrong? -
Well I didn't arrive in the park until 11am and went over to the lockers near Ricks. So if it did break down at around 11am I wasn't aware of it. I did however get on Superman at around about 11:30 - 11:45 though. I cant remember my every move exactly though. So I am sorry if I came across as rude or anything, but considering we were at different places at different times it is more than possible that it did happen.

Mickey_079 is there any reason for calling me a liar that relates to this thread? I was there on Sunday with several people, and as stated the line at several times during the day stated that the lines were "approximately 45 minute waits" or more. Weather or not that was the Actual wait or not is a different story, but that is what the sign stated. When I lined up for it, the line said it was a "Approximately 30 minute wait" but only waited around 20 minutes in total. I did head over to KFC for lunch at around 1pm, so that might have been when Superman broke down according to you. But from around 11am - 1pm and 1:45pm - 4pm I did not see the ride break down at all. So please in the future before calling me a liar, can you make sure you have got the full story? I am not trying to sound rude but I don't appreciate being called a liar in public when I know that I wasn't lying.

Great... even more congestion in that shop... Hopefully it will be up and running again soon. Also I thought Corkscrew looked really neat and tidy painted white. -
I rode Scooby Doo on Sunday, and the park was So busy it was NOT funny. Superman was running with 2 trains. Batman was using 4 pods in the afternoon and Scooby Doo was over a 60 minute wait. I tried to see Hollywood StuntDriver (2 shows BTW) and I lined up over 30 minutes before the show and still did not get a seat. They put on a extra show but at that time of the day I was just over it. I was VERY disappointed with Scooby Doo to say the least. The first half of the ride was flawless, but the rest was shocking. There was no smoke, and the music was so quiet you could barley hear it. The lasers were good, but no smoke and the quiet music sort of ruined it for me. I waited 45 minutes for it because I had heard that everything was working and it would be worth it. The fog on the final drop is gone yet again. Overall I was very disappointed with my visit at Movie World, and I think the Q150 has basically ruined the park. If you are going to have crowds, you should be staffed up and prepared for it. The only ride that had a tolerable line was Superman Escape, which was pumping through the crowds like I don't know what. I do however have one noteworthy thing to post. When I was sitting in the batcave on the batman ride, they were transitioning from 2 pods to 4 pods. However the Pre-Show only had 2 groups, and when they came to "evacuate" us one of the girls was full on going for it before noticing NO one was there. She looked so embarrassed and quickly ran away. And then when we were waiting for another group to be loaded in the pod, our attendant got a bit pissed off cause we were not enthusiastic to help batman. So we got punished for 5 minutes with a Shadow Puppet show. I reckon if the crowds had been a bit better, and the rides were running like they should it would have been a much more enjoyable day.

Eureka Mountain Mine Ride was a Steel Wild Mouse type roller-coaster. But apparently it had several Re-Incarnations / Major modifications.

Times have changed. If that is what they say, that is what they will do. Buying the lady at the Max Action center a Krispy Kreme doughnut will not help your cause either.

I'm guessing it's an Aquatrax.

Alex, you were one of the many people asking me. I should have done the typical ride operator speil: "Parkz is currently experiencing a operational delay. We do not have a time frame as to when we will be operational again, you could try coming back later in the day and hopefully we will be operational. Please feel free to experience one of our other attractions..."

I didn't think the Q4U could be used on the Giant Drop? Unless it's changed since I was there last.
-
I had people coming onto MSN too and asking me what was up. I was just sitting there thinking "I know as much as you do" Glad to have it all Hunky Dory again!

Oh okay, I thought the top one was manned. I mean one would presume if the bottom one is manned, the top one would be. Thanks for clearing that up.
-
I can tell you right now that Wild West Falls runs off at least 5 staff at most times. The main operator, Loader, Unloader as well as someone located at each turntable. This would be the case I presume for an evacuation, if people in the Mountain areas need to be removed quickly.

Not just for value either... but I know from experience that it is often the freshest food.
