  1. Ok, that would be good. Do you in your infinite wisdom oh wise one have their phone number. I ask this non sarcastically as we all know that you like to ring up these ride companys to pretend you are "in" with the carny crowd (why you'd want to I don't know). They remind me of an X-Files episode called "Home" (4x03).
  2. Meh, seemed pretty boring to me when I rode it. Personally, I mean, I thought Chaos was better. And the massive queue lines for the Crazy Mouse annoy me too.
  3. Apart from the Bush Beast and Demon, I had a very roller-coaster free year. Which sucked. I'm going to the Gold Coast again in April and maybe at the end of the year so hopefully I'll be able to boost it up a bit.
  4. Thats probably the one. Anyway, more importantly, I visited Luna Park again today (Wednesday). The only rides which I havn't given my opinion on before are Coney Island and the Hard Rock...so. The Hard Rock- We caught the ferry from Darling Harbour over to Luna Park, and I couldn't spot the Hard Rock once when I was on the ferry. I feared that it was closed for the day, but when we got to Luna Park, we walked on down and there was the Hard Rock sitting there operating. It's a pretty quiet ride, yet it's too damn close to those apartment buildings. Fast, as in faster than the Ranger, yet in my opinion the Ranger is better because it gives 'hang time' (compared to Hard Rock's 'airtime'). Nevertheless as you rocket up one side of the ride and you swing back around it is insanely fun. It's heaps smaller than I would have imagined, in all aspects, but a good size overall I guess. Pretty forceful on the face too. The only problems were that there was some kind of malfunction (or perhaps they were just messing around with us) on the harnesses and they kept opening them up and closing them again for no apparent reason. 8.5/10 Coney Island- They're basically operating this place the same as they did back in 1996 or whenever it was open last time, however, half of the stuff was turned off. That little walkaround bit was basically useless (save for the ropes at the end) and for the amount of kids wandering around today, you'd think they could have had them going. The operator on the barrels of fun was basically asleep. The funniest guy was the man operating the little spinning top ride, he was basically the soup nazi of Luna Park (in a non offensive way). He's comments consisted of "Hands up in the air, hands on knees, hands on knees, Hands up in the air, in the air, IN THE AIR, NO SOUP FOR YOU, OUT!!! POINT TO THE EXIT!". Funny guy though, he made it entertaining enough. But Coney Island just doesn't seem as cool as it used to be. 7/10
  5. Indeed. I hope it's like Storm Runner, that'd be uber-cool.
  6. Egh! EGH! That twin flip thing looks like KMG Experience! Is it like that, anyone know? Oooooh I certainly hope so, although the KMG one would be better.
  7. I hate that big ugly apartment building that you can see if you look out on the harbour. It's further inwards into the harbour, and sticks out like a big ugly pimple. Worst thing is, is that it's protected now by the government, so it's there for the long run...
  8. Oooh a cheap insult, how tough of you, you are truly a hero to us all. Here is a medal for your bravery. And also, what made you, Pattieboi reply to a topic that was kinda out of date, as in hadn't been seen since, er, the 26th of December?
  9. Nice review. Much better than the other one that was done a little while ago by some person. Anyway, did you get any other pictures of this famed Hard Rock ride? Besides the one of the sign.
  10. Right, so you created a thread bragging about how cool this re-creation of Movieworl is gonna be, and then you forgot your camera. You are an imbecile. And surely you could create it without a couple of crappy ground level photos...
  11. Obviously shuttup. Damn, you got on it before me. Anyway, I can't understand why you are so obsessed with who operates the ride. I mean, sure they may take care of it better, they may operate it a tad slower or faster, but in the end it's the same damn ride. What about some admiration of the manufacturer of the ride rather than the operator. Who cares who wears what uniform. It'd be better if you gave a more in depth report on what it was like comfort wise (although I have a pretty basic idea of what it is like), speed wise (rather than just "the speed is also fantastic") and other important aspects of the ride, instead of, "they were wearing Wittingslow uniforms"...
  12. The Lethal Weapon is closing for the constrcution of this ride? Why was I not informed?
  13. Please don't get the Claw mixed up with the Hard Rock. The Claw is a far superior ride. Aaanyway. Has the oh so great hussrainbow character ridden the Zipper yet?
  14. Sounds like you had a pretty good time.
  15. Ooh, your in for it now. You just abrreiviated to, with 2. Tsk tsk. Anyway, make sure you get lotsa photos and stuff to make your re-creation good.

    RCT3 Rides?

It's pretty cool riding some of those thrill rides. Lotsa fun.
  17. Hmmm, as it's own game, I'd hate it. As an expansion to RCT3, I'd love it.
  18. I disagree with your comment about RCT3 being easier to use than RCT2. In RCT2, the user controls were alot easier, the camera was easier to get used to, and the wall pieces (although sometimes confusing in the isometric world of the game) were a lot easier to place. Anyway, good luck.
  19. I could read what he said fine. I mean, if he did write "wat is ur favorite annoying poll lol i gotta go kthx bai2u" then I guess there would be a problem. Unfortunately, he didn't. So I think you need to calm down. Anyway, what is the difference between using the scenario editor and using sandbox mode?
  20. lol, good ol Claw, brilliant ride that one is (no joke). Anyway, if these rumours about a Chance Inverter are true, that one is coming to our fair shores, I can safely say, I'm excited.
  21. I have a shirt, but that don't help does it.
  22. Not bad, but the Demon seems sort of out of place. And theres a lot more work to be done on ladnscaping. But hey, good to know that you have the time and the willingness to actually do something like this, I couldn't be bothered.

    RCT3 Rides?

Theres a zero g roll element? The only roller-coaster element I've seen thats new is the over-banked turns. theres probably more, but meh.
