  1. I fear the plan is to just leave it dormant as I doubt considering the current financial status of the company allows for non essential works. Ideally as @themagician said I would love to see the theatre upgraded, entry returned to the original and a drawcard 4D film.
  2. I was there on Friday and can confirm I saw they were wiping down the Storm Coaster, Kids Coaster and Rails in the stadiums after each cycle/show. The foot pedal operated hand sanitiser stations were all around the park, but not always in the most obvious places.
  3. The funny thing is the Virtual Que functionality isn’t locked out, as long as you have entered the parks once and the pass is active you can reserve rides prior to your arrival at the park for the day.
  4. From launch you have been able to add your pass/ticket (with order id/email) and view it virtually including the expiry. You used to be able to scan a ticket (or pass) to use the Virtual Que functionality separately. Now it has changed to scan any ticket/pass and it will automatically add it as a ticket/pass with barcode and expiry and activate the Virtual Que.
  5. Virtual Que was active at SW too in late February, but not during the holidays/initially. The app itself has been around since December.
  6. I don't think they have actually 100% stated Virtual Que's are the only way to que? I still think we will have a traditional que with social distancing markers.
  7. SW have updated their website show schedule (but not the app), all shows returning. 4 Dolphin and Seal Shows, 3 Thunder Lake, Turtles and Paw Patrol presumably due to decreased stadium capacity.
  8. VRTP have already shared the following... so essentially your pass starts “ticking” a week after MW reopens. If you have the VRTP app this is already reflected on your passes page.
  9. The app has today been updated to allow you to store your tickets/pass and use Virtual Que simply by scanning the existing barcode with your phone camera.
  10. I recently did a SW Whale Watch and that is what I thought it was too.
  11. I simply don’t believe that you found it on Reddit, true the post could have been removed but I checked r/Australia, r/Brisbane and r/GoldCoast after your post and nothing. Damn, going to have to redo the ad
  12. @Bikash Randhawa has confirmed that Vortex is not yet ready as it still needs to be commissioned by engineers from overseas. Whilst it was posted in a private group he gave me permission to share it publicly.
  13. Well the cat is out of the bag now 😐 Whilst I am not staff I was hoping it would become public as they intended. The link was given to staff ages ago and updated periodically.
  14. I have heard an announcement shall be happening tomorrow morning for VRTP
  15. It may mean nothing, but SW Resort are now offering packages including park admission once again. SW/PC from July 1 and the rest from July 15
  16. Visited Australia Zoo today, their first day of operation since closure due to COVID-19. Social distancing foot markings at the entrance and in shops, signs throughout the zoo reminding guests to social distance. Kids shopping centre style rides were blocked off, all water bubblers were also turned off. They were disinfecting the tram after each full circuit. General animal encounters/feeding were not happening. Shows have been reduced down to 3, Tortoises Talk, Koala Talk and main Crocoseum show. At the start of the Koala and Tortoise talks the staff requested everyone social distance. The croceseum had signage to specify you must leave a 3 seat gap between groups, people were obeying that however the audio before the shows also specified leaving the rows behind and in front of you empty. As rows were not blocked off nor was this mentioned on the signs it did not happen. Huge surprise was 16 weeks ago Tiger Cub Triplets were born! Today was their first day on public display.
  17. Outdoor Amusement Parks are clearly listed as stage 2, but considering neither the Stage 2 or 3 limits are viable for reopening we are basically now just waiting on the Government to approve the COVID Safe Plan.
  18. My favourite news of the reopening Florida attractions has to be the "Social Distancing Skunk Ape".
  19. Leviathan construction is still proceeding, from VRL's latest COVID update .
  20. I know about it purely because it is in the Parkz Database.
  21. The QLD Government has posted a FAQ for COVID Safe Plans/Checklists. Interesting to hear that they are being developed at an industry level rather than individually as I previously assumed.
