  1. They're banned on rides except the rapids as far as I'm aware. I think WWW is a different story but you'd have to check with guest relations.
  2. If you want the best of the best, you need the Hero3+ Black. It does 2K and 4K resolutions and a bunch of other stuff you probably will never use, but it's future proof for a while at least. Plus it's 12 megapixel vs 5mp on the standard (white) edition. You've got white<silver<black. But again, depends what you need and what your budget is really. Now I'm going to let you get back on topic while I go back to being 5 years behind everyone else and watch Community which I just discovered the other day is quite an awesome show.
  3. TBH I have no idea what performers like that would make, I was only assuming it would be an entry level position paid fairly low.
  4. It's not so much about complaining because they are trying, it's more of a shock and confusion about how it's a completely random, oddly thrown together thing. It's like someone rocked up to work one morning and went "hey you! in the business outfit, grab this megaphone and that segway and get out there". Why not just get someone out there in the Kenny costume a bit more often? Why not get a new clown? Why not get someone themed to ocean parade - say, a lifeguard, it's not hard to have someone wander around in boardshorts while carrying a life-ring or something - even better if they do a random comedy act. Then have a bushranger in gold rush etc. You'd need maybe 3 extra people. 3 people in a fulltime role, say 30k/yr and you've got a lot more entertainment and happiness for less than 100k/yr.
  5. Whatever the latest is. Isn't it the GoPro 3 black or something?
  6. ^ Buy one while you're over there to avoid the Australia Tax
  7. While yes they appear to be iphone or other phone camera shots with quite a bit of focus on DOF and a bit too much filtering for my liking, not everyone is lucky enough or inclined to want to purchase a DSLR camera.
  8. Is it just me or does bigkev and pushbutton remind anyone else of these guys?
  9. You know, with a couple of trees gone, they could almost fit another flat ride in that area........
  10. ^ I'm just gonna.....yeah....ummm.... anyway, turns out my memory is better than I thought. That's actually a pretty funny read from that point forward.
  11. The Narnia tour was interesting a couple of years back. Whilst it would be nice to see a tour return, obviously it wont for reasons that have been covered so many times in the past. One thing I wouldn't mind seeing though is a shop in the park replaced with a gallery of sorts containing photos of the sets that either have been made and used in the studios, or are currently in use in the studios. It is "Movie"world after all. Push this would have to be the closest thing to an insult in this thread and you're really just clutching at straws there. Actually from memory I'm on push's ignore list so he probably won't see this anyway.
  12. From Dreamworld's FB page....seriously? Dreamworld Australia 42 mins · Fun Police Alert! Be on the look out for Dreamworld's Fun Police...he's in pursuit for happiness! ‪#‎DWhappiness‬
  13. right click - copy url = https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3870/15100929889_df23fae9ce_k.jpg - flickr link rather than the usual http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/uploads/monthly_xxxxxxxxx.jpg
  14. Now before you call me a hypocrite, the earlier photos were all posted before this rule was in place.
  15. You mean except for the other times where the park wasn't allowed to do whatever due to the complaints from residents, right?
  16. Houses?! Why don't we just build one massive coaster there?
  17. Yeah, that's really shit. I mean, why not have people meet at the gate at say 2pm. For a tour starting at 2:30? Absolute worst case? You have 15 extra people in the park from 4-5pm who didn't pay for a day's admission. Oh no, look at all the money they losing because of it. While I think it's great they're doing the tours, I think it's absolute bullshit they didn't time them better or organise it better. Warner Bros. 18. Yeah I'm not dropping $210 just to do a tour. ($80 season pass, $50 tour, $99 vip pass) And if you go just one night, you're looking at $250 for the ultimate tour. I think I'll just wait for one of you guys to post the videos here. Don't disappoint me.
