Well I did try to look it up, and the only thing I could find (without trying to find an actual regulation about it) was something saying a court could charge anywhere up to $100,000 ($500 for personal infringements) and my previous employer had advised us it was a 75k fine. Please though, prove me wrong and show me, I'm genuinely curious.

Yes he did. He became the immediate past president of the being alive club. But I read the report and doesn't it say that was the most likely reason, but they were not able to confirm it with certainty? (Admittedly I did read it late at night though so I might be wrong)

Contributing safety factors • The operator did not have a procedure in place to ensure independent crosschecking of the helicopter’s fuel quantity. I hope the guy that under-fuelled it got his ass handed to him. I wouldn't be surprised if it came back to being a cost-cutting measure though. Keeping in mind airlines are notorious for only just putting enough fuel in to get to their destination +~30mins hold time to save money.

That's what I remember it being too. That comes down to human error. The chopper doesn't go fuel itself up. It's amazing in this day and age that we still rely on people to calculate the fuel load themselves on aircraft. (Unless that's been changed since last time I watched air crash investigation.....which happened to be on a flight to the USA in 2011 lol)

It's a shame it (I think) was human error in the end, but a good landing in the circumstances

Make sure you point out the accident at the Adelaide show involving a similar ride. Hopefully it will scare the idiots away from the parks.

I assume you mean speed2 and freestyle. I can't help but think surely some of these are accidentally added twice. It makes sense to have multiple dodgems but that's it.
