  1. From what I can remember this is the only pic we have of the cars? http://resources0.news.com.au/images/2014/06/02/1226940/584212-9cd15e12-ea15-11e3-b156-d40c8a88d56f.jpg
  2. Or it's possible you just haven't traveled and done as many rides as other members?
  3. Posting so I can see my stats on my profile
  4. I think it actually looks good and they seem to be doing well with theming an actual attraction again.
  5. Would it be wrong to think that maybe, just maybe the wipeout water may return? Isn't there enough clearance without the need for the ground to be recessed? Wouldn't they have filled it in otherwise?
  6. I'm guessing this was in their pre-roof era? Never really visited before then. Maybe it's an announcement relating to the new Superman movie in 2016. Australian premiere maybe?
  7. It would be to a lot of people considering he hasn't made an appearance at the park in a long time (ever?) has he?
  8. That extra button or two must have been such a hassle. I know I almost died when I had to press them it was so stressful
  9. True, I was taking a too broad look at the "design flaw" comment I guess. It's a shame though that there's all these pissed off people complaining about it. I mean has there ever been a ride at any park that hasn't had teething problems? It's better that it breaks down and gets fixed rather than they never build it to begin with.
  10. I agree, but this wasn't a custom model was it? Shouldn't it be to the same spec as other models or do they all have the same issue? Shaggy made me promise that was a secret.
  11. Having only ridden it once, I'm surprised it was still functional after all these years. It's great they've kept it so long and I really do hope they upgrade it to one of those hybrid coaster things and keep it around. Would it be close to worlds oldest?
  12. After 36 years Six Flags Magic Mountain will close Colossus August 16, 2014
  13. They should have done this https://www.sixflags.com/magicmountain/attractions/speedy-gonzales-hot-rod-racers
  14. The queue will probably just be a bunch of people standing in line waiting for a ride.
  15. True, but all talk I remember seeing about it from its initial launch focused on the fact it was a "mini movieworld" rather than LT based. In saying that 2077 or whatever it was before it became another Strike/M9 combo in Sydney was around a "mini sydney" iirc and I couldn't place much of it until we walked through with the lights on.
  16. I for one think it should be a decent enough attraction actually. Older kids have scooby, mid range have RR, younger kids have the WB area. Older kids and adults have Superman, scooby, AA. This covers something else for kids. I'll wait final judgement for when it opens, but based on the idea, I think it would do well. Sure I'll miss the LTRR and really had hoped they would keep that and keep the LT theme to it, but we've got to move on and no amount of bitching and moaning is going to bring LTRR back.
  17. A horribly photoshopped image at that....
  18. Maybe it's because I'm a V8 fan, but that thing is pathetic. It's a NASCAR simulator. It was built as a NASCAR simulator. The graphics look circa 1999, the gears are in stupid places, the teams and drivers you're racing as I'm pretty sure don't even exist any more. (Ignoring the liveries, they change annually) Had they invested a little more money in it it could have been great. In its current state, it doesn't deserve to be an upcharge.
  19. Speaking of spinning, maybe they're going to convert cyclone into a spinning coaster :-P
