  1. I used manta purely because it's decent full-size B&M since it seems everyone would want something huge if we ever got one.
  2. Looking at a B&M the size of Manta, there doesn't really appear to be much room anyway so unless the parks want to spend millions to expand, millions for the ride, and millions to shut the people up who live nearby, we need to all give up or wait for one of the parks owners rich nigerian prince friends to help them out.
  3. Ok, so I might decide to add to this later but I got a bit bored. Here is my attempt. Dark Grey - Shops/food outlets Bright yellow - Flume ride Fari left bright yellow - ToT (themed to original DW ToT) De Ja Vu - Shipped direct from SFMM Light grey track - Custom Go Karts (themed to v8 supercars) Grey building near lake - Ski show seating Black - Wooden coaster rebuilt now completly over lake Red - Flying coaster Red shaded area - kids area themed to looney tunes featuring all the standard kids rides Red shaded area also has a couple of kids coasters Left side blue area - waterpark Far right blue - whale show (square uilding) aquarium (long building) Shaded blue patch to whale show - aquarium tunnel (walk through aquarium) Far left side has been reserved for stage 2 Kids Coaster: Flume: Flying Coaster:
  4. That's Their Six Flags Don't start a sentence with 'but'. Don't forget your full stops.
  5. Would you believe it's taken me this long just to remove the park to my liking hmm, having issues with the scale now as everything I make turns out too big
  6. for anyone interested, google earth (NOT maps) has photos dating back to 1998 and you can progress through some years to see before and after shots as well as the carpark being full of containers for the salvage operation
  7. Artistic skill doesn't have to be all that great either does it. You just have to get the general idea of what's happening?
  8. Quick question, unless anyone can confirm otherwise, are we all happy to class all this land as belonging to the park?
  9. Cant it be done in any format? CAD RCT Paper Crayon on a wall etc...
  10. I would have thought a lot of the rest could be sold as souvenirs to get a bit of cash back Surely rust would be an issue now though. SFNO: Still Fu--ed, Not Opening
  11. Parkz: New Orleans. I say we all go over and fix it up 30.056769,-89.934006 The flume boats are still in the carpark whenever the google maps pic was taken.
  12. haha, I didn't find them creepy, it's just sad to see a themepark rotting away like that. I used to be able to find a heap of photo story posts like that but my google-fu seems weak tonight
  13. Tour of abandoned Six Flags New Orleans http://www.lovethesepics.com/2011/05/creepy-crusty-crumbling-illegal-tour-of-abandoned-six-flags-new-orleans-75-pics/
  14. What did I say before?! You owe me a holiday damnit!
  15. I really think these updates should start up again. it looked great.
  16. Damnit don't post stuff like this. I can't afford another US holiday for a while now
  17. What would the weather be like? Clear sky, sunny, 23 degrees, no bite to the sun What day would it be? Any day all rides are open What sort of crowds would be there? There wouldn't be any. The park would be open only to people I chose that day What would you eat? Probably a burger and chips, I don't go to a themepark to eat fancy stuff, give me a quick meal any time. What rides would you go on? Depends what park I'm at, currently in love with SFMM as it's the best one I've been to. What shows would you see? See above Who would you go with? Whoever wanted to come along. Assuming it was all free, I'm sure I would get a few friends to come along
  18. So they've fixed and updated some theming and made other parts worse? At least it's still a decent step in the right direction
  19. We were given one of those cards but forgot to hand it in until we left the ride
  20. Any of the ones I liked if they were closing down
  21. I assumed we were only talking about major parks on the coast. As far as seaworld goes though, IMO, I would say if it closed, it would be like Fox studios in sydney. The tourist area closes but the primary function remains. So for seaworld, the rides would be gone and the shows stopped and it would become a marine centre with no public access and a lot of the land would be sold off.
