The prices are dirt cheap for a whole year of unlimited access to all the attractions in the park. Far too cheap, actually.

Sounds to me like they need to make a decision to either : - Commit to long term ownership of Dreamworld and appoint someone with the right experience (and of course give them the resources they need to make it a success), OR - Actively seek a buyer for Dreamworld as soon as possible, acknowledging they will not get a good price for it.

I wonder if Village will do the same. Hope not!

Whilst it wasn't in a theme park, this is the mistake that Sydney made when they removed their monorail "because it didn'tprovide an efficient transport service". In fact, it was a major tourist attraction, not a transport service!

Could well be. Sadly a lot of so-called Journalists these days are much more suited to writing fiction novels.

I'd imagine the further share price drop is mostly nervous shareholders reacting to the news the share price had previously dropped. The share market is crazy like that! However I am a bit concerned that they're considering further asset sales. If they could possibly avoid that they definitely should. It's usually only a short term solution with negative long term consequences!

I certainly wouldn't dream of replacing Loony Tunes. Just making a general point. Labouring that point might be more accurate!

It does indeed, and what they may not realise is that there are in fact some Warner Bros movies which actually don't feature Batman, or any DC characters, or Loony Tunes characters, or Scooby-Doo. Amazingly, there are quite a lot of them!

I actually thought they were a perfect fit to be honest, and added the "Wild" to go with the "Wet".

Good to know it's hiding there somewhere then! Still think it should be on the list of rides. It's not like they have enough rides without it.

It's a ride to me, as were the chairlifts and miniature railway until they closed, and as is the Dreamworld train which they do list as a ride on their site.

That list of rides at Sea World looks so, errr, impressive? Even taking into account that Nickelodeon Land is several kids rides doesn't help much! They could surely have included the monorail though, to at least give one additional ride (unless they've suddenly closed that like they have the Wet & Wild buggies!) Just checked and can't see any sign of the monorail anywhere on the Sea World site. Could it be that Australia has lost its first and last monorail?

If any of the Gold Coast parks were sold it would obviously make the annual passes inclusive of fewer options. Even though I don't go to Sea World often these days due to the lack of attractions, it's still nice to be able to go when I feel like it without paying extra. I certainly wouldn't go if I had to pay each time.
