The way I like to look at the changes (especially in Disney parks) is to imagine that the "new" ride is the original and the "old" ride was replacing it. Would anyone have been happy if the Frozen ride was there from the start and then replaced with the Maelstrom, I don't think so. A lot of people are just opposed to changes in Disney.

You probably saw the film set being constructed up the back of the Outback Spectacular paddocks (as seen in the Nearmap image below), which is most likely for the new Thor film that is due to start filming there soon.

To me the idea seems to be a bit disjointed as a standalone attraction. Perhaps if/when they build more attractions around and make it an "entertainment precinct" between the parks it will make more sense.

I'd say it is more of an "inverted" tree rather than upside down. It has "leaves" in the centre with "trunks/branches" coming off it.

I realise there is a big difference between 1 hundred million and hundreds of millions. The comment as pointed out by Theme Park Girl clearly shows 100,000,000s - the 's' clearly indicates a plural (no confusion), therefore a minimum of 200 million can be assumed from the comment as it is written. Although the comment may be and is probably incorrect, the writer may have meant over 100 million not necessarily "hundreds of millions".

Hundreds of millions of dollars in investments could indicate a new park? Although the announcement does state the investments for "Movie World" not VRTP in general.

I've mentioned it previously, but I would love to see the utilisation of digital projection and fog cannons in the final lift hill to simulate explosions like the latest refurb of Big Thunder at Disneyland.

Great timing on this shot, the clouds match up really well I like the way that the building image helps hide (or at least blend in) the Scooby evacuation stairs.

Well if that 45min sign is for two gondolas running common sense would indicate that with one gondola running the same point would equal about a 90min wait, not rocket science. Considering it was a Public Holiday the park would have been running on skeleton staff, top that with the fact that Movie World and Wet 'n' Wild were closed and you would have to expect long lines throughout the park.

Has the WOC issue been fixed where the fountains and platforms were stuck in the "up" position and in plain sight of guests during the day? I know there was a very long period where they were on show all day and made the bay look very tacky.

Yes, the last shot is more recent. That is were the cage full of cars was in the original queue set up. when the moved the entrance for Lethal Weapon to the side (its current entry), they removed the cars and that is what is pictured. that area is now the main queue of AA were all the prison cells are.

The walls at Australia Zoo are much Higher, the glass may be similar in height but then has an even taller section of wire above.
