I know this is most likely DW's last thing on their mind. But if that area is closed of for months and months wouldn't it be a good time to get rid of the asbestos. I don't mean bulldozing everything and build a new ride. But with that area closed could they get ride of just the parts of the building that contain asbestos now. So later down the track they can bulldoze the ride building or do something without closing a major section of the park of.

The chairman said during the GMA meeting that the Rapids and surrounding area (gold Rush) will be closed for many many months until everything is sorted out.

AW managed to fill in their paddle boats lake. You just fill it with sand/ remove the concrete.

Channel 9 news in Perth have done a story on Adventure World. Talking about the chair lift incident that happened a few years ago.

@www worker 2.0 said she was originally a worker at WWW when she joined as WWW worker. She then later joined as WWW Worker 2.0. However she said she was in senior management at Dreamworld. (I believe) Bush Gardens have closed their water rapids rides now waiting for the investigation to finish.

I heard on the radio someone said it was a very horrific scene visually. Plus when you add this to what the paramedics said "in compatible for life". This makes me wonder if these 4 people were pulled into the conveyer and perhaps shredded. Not trying to disrespectful to those who lost their lives and their family but I am just wondering if it was possible.

I was watching a news report which said their were another 2 males on the raft who managed to get free and survived. These 2 have been sent for questioning by police and are receiving council along with family's of the deceased and staff operating the ride.

I just can't believe this happened. I mean that 4 people who went to a park to have a fun day and now can't come home. Not to think about the other family members involved. If they had kids that now have no parents. It deeply saddens me and I am just shocked.

As @www worker 2.0 said that DW's ride announcement has been pushed back I wonder if we will see MW postphone their new roller coaster announcement.

Not bad waterslides for an Aquatic and Recreation enters. (ARC) Cockburn is just the name of the local council.

2 new things have been announced at Perth Water Parks. First the Maze is getting a new kiddie slide and this was announced at the new Cockburn Aquatic and recreation centre. (ARC)

Does anyone know what stage 2 of TI island includes? They keep saying stage 2 will open later but what is included in stage 2?

10 year olds and younger go on the Abyss doesn't mean Abyss is not thrilling.

There are already full circuit roller coasters over 400-feet. We have 2 strata coasters which are TTD and KK. So for it to be the worlds tallest it would need to be a high strata or a polar coaster. (500+ feet)

Or it could be an angled support that doesn't need to be on the park side of the fence.

I am hoping the weather warms up for you. Not been warm weather lately.

Hopefully the summer weather comes back soon. Must be quite at the park this weekend because of Telethon.

^^ That does make sense and you wouldn't want to kill the lawn which you sent quite a bit of money on. The show should be a great capacity soaker taking the aprox 650 people.
