Old news my friend, Intamin was chosen and they released a more refined concept months ago. I'm surprised you haven't heard about it, it's definitely going to be one of the biggest rides of 2018 (which is already looking like it will be a massive year for amusement parks) and rival some of the best coasters in the world.

If I remember right, the old queue setup had it that it was 90 minutes from the entrance to the skull, but since they terminate the queue at the top of the final stairs now, it would spill out partway down the outside portion of the queue. A two-hour queue would definitely go past the entrance to the ride - @Rollercoaster_Lover I'm really getting sick of these troll posts that you're making, even if it was a long queue, 2 hours is absurd and an unneeded exaggeration.

I'm not disappointed with two-train operation - provided the staff can get dispatches going with minimal times sitting on the brakes/transfer, other hypercoasters and gigacoasters have proven that it can be done just as well with two trains, and it also eliminates the need for a MCBR.

Still waiting on backseat queues to become the standard on new rollercoasters (in particular ones that focus on airtime)

The station looks very open One half of me is happy, because that means it won't turn into the sweatbowl Superman's queue becomes in the summer The other half is disappointed because that points to theming being very limited in the queue and station.

Fire exit makes sense, or perhaps an entrance for staff. I wouldn't think it would be disabled access - would be kinda pointless to build a completely separate queue - just put a ramp in the fast track queue and put them through there.

Something that intrigues me - there are 4 queue lines in the final photo - obviously one for main entry, one for fast track, and one for single riders - but what would the fourth one be used for?

Don't mean to be sexist here or anything, but let's not. That sort of controversy shouldn't be a centrepoint of a coaster theme. If it's going to be WW themed, it will be so because she's one of the most popular DC superheroes as of late and would be a solid choice for marketing. Poison Ivy & Mr Freeze are the other big ones, with one or two mentions of the Scarecrow. Then you have a few bits and bobs in the queue that point towards other villains - eg the Riddler. Amen to this...

Most of the coasters would need multiple maint guys to inspect in the mornings, but I'm sure the kiddie rides and possibly even DD could easily be done by one person. If you wonder what they do during the day - stick around in the GL queue and you might spot a maint guy or two underneath one of the cars doing work.

I must say, they've definitely improved since the last video. This one accomplishes what they set out to achieve pretty well, although the Star Tour bit at the end was very obvious advertising since it didn't relate that strongly to the main topic of the video.

You're right actually, mist smells and feels a lot like oil. They have almost identical properties.

This is Dreamworld we're talking about, not UQ. Unlikely. But it's also unlikely that the ride exploded, so it's hard to say what it was at the moment. Definitely contact the park.

I semi-agree, although it's more of a matter of not thinking about it too seriously than using your imagination. Except you don't need 3D glasses to read a spiderman comic.

Generally I completely agree with these Parkz news articles, but this one not so much. I think the ad achieves its purpose well, but this article feels like its ignoring that purpose, and focuses too much on the negatives. It's an advertisement - it doesn't have to be 100% realistic - as long as it achieves its purpose of attracting people to the park which I think it will do well.

I doubt that the sign is meant to be pointing towards anything, but if they did turn the swamp into a junge cruise-style ride (a good one), I'd definitely look forward to it.

Yep, as corny as some of their videos were, I did enjoy them a lot and some of them were kinda funny.
