  1. I like how the statues aren't incredibly lifelike and they've gone for a more comic-book-y feel (at least from what we've seen).
  2. Yeah the operations are already somewhat slow, especially with one-train operation. A video like that for MW's rides would definitely change if you go in off-peak or peak season - especially with superman. When they're running two trains it's very quick but when it's only one it can be 3-5min dispatches.
  3. Nothing reliable, I just know that that's about how often most of my non-enthusiast friends go. It obviously differs with age and other factors.
  4. ... You do realise the average GP member probably gets to a theme park every 2 years? 'Theme park enthusiast problems'
  5. I doubt MW's coaster will be brown, aren't really any superheroes for that to fit.
  6. Agreed, water coasters are great and something like this would be great for WnW.
  7. I think the interactive elements would still be yet to be installed - probably saving that until the end.
  8. I'd be down for an indoor hyper. It would sure be ugly, but it would be tons of fun
  9. MM got exactly what they needed (aside from a few flats, and really we knew one or the other was coming this year and hopefully the flats will come next year). I guess the other two Justice League parks got what they wanted too. The frisbee at DK I think will work well. But really disappointed that they're not even re-theming the free-flies and there's no RMC (has their contract with SF expired?). Honestly the water coaster for FT is probably the top thing for next year after the JLs.
  10. Three justice leagues? Three jokers? Lots of flats? A couple of waterslides? No RMC/major coaster? One word - underwhelming. 2017 looks like it's going to be a quiet year over in America, unless they get a RMC mean streak/hurler announcement from Cedar Fair.
  11. nvm, the rumours were false. Next year for SF looks really underwhelming. What we're getting is probably going to be better than all of their stuff combined.
  12. Mack seems like they might be having a very big year next year. MW, Movie Park Germany, possibly Blackpool Pleasure Beach (this might be 2018? I've only heard rumours), veeeeery slight chance of SF getting one too from what I've heard (SFFT being the most likely candidate) but I guess we'll find out about that one tomorrow.
  13. I'm not big on the 'semi-shuttle' idea, also I'm not sure how Richard's references to a hypercoaster mean anything, afaik he knows nothing more than we do.
  14. With the Flash and WW movies coming up, it's most likely going to be one of them. I agree with reanimated on Flash if it's launched or WW for a chain lift. So now it's probably down between a launch coaster or one of their new hypers. Possibly one of their dive coaster concepts that I've seen around the internet.
  15. Let's hope they're going to do a big refurb and possibly give it some new theming. Let's also hope they don't pull another Bermuda. The other possibility is that something is happening with the building it's on (the one that used to house the 4D movie, is it still there?), although I wouldn't think it would be anything big due to what'll be happening at MW next year.
  16. As the saying goes, "There's no such thing as a free lunch", nor is there such thing as super-cheap theme park tickets.
  17. 15km is about the distance from Brisbane CBD to Mt Gravatt. Do you think if there was a fire at Mt Gravatt people in the CBD would be worried that it was going to be a threat for them? (assume the fire has something to burn all the way to the city). Firefighters are always quickly alerted to things like these and a small bushfire can be put out very quickly before it has time to spread anywhere.
  18. They'll probably want to keep time for extra work on theming and stuff. Think of InvadR at BGW, that one is just a 'family' coaster but it started construction quite a while ago probably because they'll do an outstanding job at theming it. Cobra's Curse is another example that took a fair while to construct because of theming.
  19. Yeah maybe we'll be getting the world's best Larson Superloop or Zamperla Disk-o and the park decided to market it as a coaster
  20. Yeah hoping we get some sort of confirmation that it's all happening soon, or we see some shiny track arrive or something.
  21. Glad I'm not the only one ahahaha...
  22. That glossy shine of the paint is so beautiful...
