Interesting how they are referring to the classic Ski Show. I guess it is one of the most major attractions the park has ever been known for. Hopefully it lives up to the standard that show once did.

An attraction like that (Turtle Trek) would be perfect for SW. Planet SOS 4D used to be a great show for the park, and since then they have never had anything in the cinema worthwhile, so a major and modern attraction would perfectly suit this, especially since the castle is no longer utilised for anything major. There would definitely be a lot of rerouting happening in the park as removing that castle would be a massive project.

But maybe they’ll close COTD, or that will become part of the theme of the coaster. And they have all the reclaimed land just over the water, which could be used for it

I’m not doubting they have the knowledge for the job at VRTP, it’s more the spirit and service. A lot of the staff won’t even speak to you when you interact with them in some way, whether that’s entering the park, loading a ride, or even ordering food.

I thought the Junior Driving School was what got delayed for the polar bear cube enclosure

I could be wrong on this, but I believe the animals were coming from a zoo down south, and I think the deal/transfer fell through, so the attraction wouldn’t have actually had animals

VRTP should definitely have this sort of thing

Maybe a bird aviary some sort of thing, this is there new plans for the WILD attraction, only 6 years late

There is plenty of stuff happening throughout the park at the moment, which is very good to see. Thunder Lake Stunt Show is under construction (more photos in appropriate topic) Land clearing also happening (More photos in seperate topic) COTD The creatures definitely have seen better days Spongebob Coaster is undergoing a major refurb with an entire repaint happening Additional shading has been installed A more permanent fencing has been added at the log ride station, rather than the green fencing The Reef is under maintenance And the new shading for the dolphin encounter is finished The bridge alongside seal show has also been finished

Construction update

All the trees are being cleared on the hill of COTD and excavation is underway, which makes me think, this could possibly be the location of a new attraction. SlyFlyer is only temporary, so to me makes sense

The gondola arms have already been removed

DW promised they would do one, if the families wanted it, so obviously they didn’t want it

The billboard when you travel north has been updated for Cosentino as well as the smaller one just past the main one at DW

GL used to require lockers for a number of years, but they changed that probably about 3-4 years ago, and can use the storage provided

Can't exactly remember when they were added, but they have been there for quite a few years now

@Baconjack I believe there is one more version of the ride in Mexico

So sad to see it go, but we all knew it was coming I agree with @Glubbo, rather than a plain boring area. It would be cool to keep the queue and operations huts, and maybe even add the surfboards somewhere, and if they can, the wave as well
