I never realised how worn out the ride had become and the effects they had taken away from the ride. The repurbishment is definetly going to make the ride like it originally was. Also, if you watch episode 1 of the Dreamworld archieve, it is of the bushranger show guests watched when on the paddle boat. At 6:40 there is a waterfall that goes into the river, if DW turned this back on it might make the river a bit cleaner.

I personally don't think we will see the another makeover until next year.

Wouldn't water running down the wave cause the paint to fade quicker, meaning the sharks and other details won't be visible after a couple of months?

^I think putting all of the ride back together will all happen over night. One day they won't be there and the next the motors and gondola will be installed.

Yeah it was a smart move for MW to do that. I would except now an extra couple of nights will be added throughout July. I think if they do this event again next year, they should either do it every weekend in June or July.

Movie World has added an extra night on the 30th.

Source? If this is true then I am expecting the new attractions to be added to the reclaimed land (Maybe more sea creatures and a ride). And maybe the show will be fish detectives.

I would have thought that the area that the new ride would take would only be this much (red line) and not them stalls. Also, is this where the new fence line of Wipeout is (Purple Line) (Blue is original fence line)?

When was that done? I did always think that there should have been another access point to it, do it's good they have finally done that.

I would like to think that they would put more effort into it if they wanted to allow guests to nearly to get right underneath it. And people are always getting wet when they walk through the Madagascar area. I would be quite happy if I got a bit wet while watching the wipeout.

When you say pre-show do you mean like a briefing so the kids know how to control the cars? I think it would be good if the enterance was there and the cut out was the viewing area. Does anyone have any idea of how many cars the ride could have on at once, just an estimate/opinion?

Is that plastic shelter allowing people to get even closer to the ride while protecting them water sprays.

I totally agree. 10 needs to be a roller coaster. Not a flat ride like Pandaemonium or Big 9.

I personally hope that its a star flyer, but after seeing the height restriction I think it will be a sky fly. But we could all be totally wrong and its nothing like what we think it will be.
