  1. Just out of interest, are the RIP and BRO closed while this new slide is constructed? Also, just to clarify, is this the site of the slide: If so, would that mean the path of the RIP would change? And where do people think the queue and splash pool will be for the new slide?
  2. The picture doesn't have enough pixels for us to tell really. The right does look like the mountain of WWF, but I would also say that it is just the theming for the looney tunes.
  3. I personally think they have done a good job of that wall. I suppose it is now it is like Movie World with a Looney Tunes World. As reanimated35 said, at least they have linked it back to Looney Tunes. From that image it does not look like they are using the whole building. Maybe the other half will be for storage, or for future rides. Or maybe the ride even goes back there and some effects and animatronic looney tunes characters.
  4. If they are going to do a mini movie world they need to have them, otherwise its main street, with a few white buildings. They probably will do that. To the people who have been to MW and had a look at this, how big are those buildings. From the photos they don't look much taller than 2 metres. Any ideas?
  5. The thing I don't get about this idea is, why a mini movie world? Why not a looney tunes themed world. When I am on a ride, I want to feel like I am not a the park, but instead been taken on an experience that makes me forget about everything else and just focus on whats going on around me. So I don't get why would someone want to go on a ride, to drove around the exact place where they came from. Yes I understand it is for kids, but couldn't they make it a bit more exciting. For all we know there could be something added to it, to make it more interesting, but from everything we have heard, I don't think that is the case. They already have to ride in the area for kids to drive around in. Why another one. Hopefully they will get rid of Speedy Taxi's once this opens.
  6. I think this attraction could be a good addition to the Kids WB area, but they need to remove Speedy Taxi's once it opens. I don't think this ride will be no where near as good as LTRR was, but if Movie World add plenty of detail and theatrical elements to the ride, it could be something that will better than we all think.
  7. They also posted this a couple of months ago: A major transformation of our iconic Town Hall has begun. Opening mid-2014 will be an exciting new attraction in its place that will absolutely blow your mind!
  8. Thanks for that. So we now know Reef Diver is completely gone. Did you notice any further changes to Wipeout?
  9. I would say the storm is also complex. And because it is the first ride in the country to have water and coaster on the same ride, it would make it even more complex.
  10. What height do you think it needs to be for it to be classed as a Thrill Ride.
  11. Thanks, could you please get some photos if possible as well. And if you can could you just have a peek into WWW to see if anything is happening.
  12. When Arkham Asylum first opened with the new trains, I remember there were many problems with it. I don't think there are as many now though, but it must have been for the first 6 months or so. If I can remember correctly.
  13. Just checking WnW maintenance schedule and Buccaneer Bay has been closed since the 14th May. Reopening date to be advised. I would say this would have to do with the works happening behind it.
  14. Here is a picture of one of the floats. I think they looks really good:
  15. Or maybe as kids drive around into the superman escape part of the park, superman will fly by or something. Just an idea, if they are saying the ride will be a miniature version of movie world
  16. It isn't. Dreamworld have announced they will be restoring another one of the parks favourites.
  17. How did the slide cause you to get a back injury?
  18. I would say that the next to weekends will have medium queue lines. The following two will be very busy, due to the passes running out, as AlexB said.
  19. I would have thought that WnW JR would be aimed for kids who are old enough who want to try something a little more daring than the ones in Buccaneer Bay. If they feature a mini Tornado, I would have thought that AquaDrop would be fine. It could be the thrill ride for the area.
  20. That would be a good idea. They had fully installed it, but I never saw it being used. Did anyone ever see it operate? Maybe they have it in a store room in the park, because they have been planning this for a few years now.
  21. Should be alright on Saturday. Not to long of waits.
  22. I don't think it will be much different to all the other weekends. They may be a few minutes longer, but nothing manor (I don't think).
  23. I agree with you on that one. It will also be good if they bring back the water and even better if they brought back Fluffy. Is there any other new with Reef Diver? If the whole ride gone now?
  24. In the news article they mention he one in Sydney and will be similar to it. It also says: "The attraction, which will be built near Buccaneer Bay, boasts nine water slides and is a mini version of WetnWild itself." And construction work has been seen betweenBuccaneer Bay and constrictor.
  25. So far we know that it is going to be similar to the one at WNWS, it will have 9 slides and will go behind Buccaneer Bay. I think WNW JR idea is a good one, particularly when Buccaneer Bay is one of few attractions in the park which kids can go on. I hope its has the mini tornado, etc like WNWS. That way parents can go on the rides with their kids.
