    The park is very quiet because of the weather, Superman had a 30 minute wait, everything else open was 15 or less. And the smoke effects are still off.

    To give everyone a summary of the state of Villains area in the park, the cars license plate is snapped in half But they have trimmed back the vines around Poison Ivy The Rivals banner definitely needs to be taken down though

    Yeah that is a fair point, but other than the aqua racer being replaced recently, I don’t think any other water attractions have had a repaint? Maybe Black Hole has?

    I would agree with that in a situation where the service was a bit slower than expected. For buffet there’s not really a wait, but if you order and are waiting a while, then it could become annoying for some

    I see it as the other way round. He was a monorail operator, but because it hasn’t been operating they were moved into a different position in the park which happens to be guest services. He also claimed that the track will begin removal in the next couple months and it was supposed already be removed but the weather has delayed this.

    I do hope they aren’t removing it for good because that will be the biggest let down after they stated several times that it definitely would return. Hopefully new trains means they have aircon

    That won’t help the situation though. My understanding is when the kid stood up his head went inside the hole where the beams are. I’d say that we might not see the ceiling return if they/government find it’s an issue.

    I doubt it, I’d expect just some modifications to its design. It wouldn’t surprise me if it needs up with seat belts/straps

    What’s annoying about that water going everywhere is it flows into the entrance and queue of Doomsday, so when the ride eventually reopens you have to step through the water to ride.

    I think a lot of people have forgotten about the GL incident too. Because it wasn’t necessarily the parks fault and no one was injured, upon the rides reopening people didn’t seem too worried. But when it happened and for months after it was a major topic.

    And then you go to SW and realise they’ve only got 3 adult rides and only one of them is worthwhile. And then you go to WnW and realise half of the attractions there are closed or are so faded they look like they are closed.

    The thing with that price difference, with the VRTP you get 4 parks all year round (despite one being a glorified farm), plus entry into 3 of their night events. While DWs pass you only get entry to 1.5 parks (as WWW is closed half the year) and an observation lookout. They do offer entry to one of their night events, and discounts/bonuses throughout the year. So despite their major overall price difference, if you break it down, is the overall value the same?

    Rivals maintenance got pushed back a week

    Vortex is closed tomorrow (and at this stage is only for that one day). I did notice a large crane on site this morning. Could this be the begging of trident being lifted into place. Potentially they are lifting the base of the tower into place today? And considering vortex is closed tomorrow does that mean it will either all be installed or partially installed.

    Interested to know if anything for the attraction has changed in the park with the update to the rides name on the website. On my last visit I didn’t notice any signage changes

    When you compare photos of the train there are a few differences visible. Look at the front of the train for example where the wheels are. Colour order of the bikes are completely different too. The harness system is different and more restrictive now. And when I asked a head ride operator for the park about if the ride had got faster (when that info was circulating online) they confirmed it had because the trains were lighter now.

    They definitely could use the TOT station area, but the issue is the train. The train track divides the area and causes the level change. They could level it out however and have a crossing to access Tiger Island, so you don’t have that dark confines tunnel.
