Everyone on here has/is skeptical when people come out and say things like this. But I guess over time, you been to understand who is legit and who is just making stuff up. I can’t give details yet, so I am not necessarily confirming there is a new attraction, but for anyone who passes/visits WNW regularly, just check in on that area every now and then for the foreseeable future.

Dreamworld General Park Update - April 2021

My hope is they add one (possibly two) new attractions in the Blue Lagoon/Log Ride area. That will fix up that corner of the park and will make the park feel much more complete again -

A boom gate has been installed at the entry to allow cranes to carry track pieces across the road Dreamworld, your bush needs a trim And a few years ago @Slick did an update and said how ugly the laser domes looked that were used for night events. Not sure how long they have been gone for, but today I notched they have been removed Unfortunately you can still see the aircon units -
Movieworld 30 Year Anniversary Celebration Predictions

Villages response would be, “but we offer Afterpay” -
As I’ve already said, DC Rivals took 4 months, but that was a much more complex construction process. If there aren’t any delays, I can see track construction complete within 3 months. After that they’ve got to build the station/maintenance building, queue area, landscaping, pathways, theming and then also testing. In the renders/video we have seen all this rock work... what are the chances they will actually build all this I really hope they do, especially on the back of the SkyVoyager building so it isn’t just a white backdrop. And it will make the coaster even more exciting if you are twisting and turning between and around rock work

Scooby also has a minimum age requirement of 6 years old with an adult and 10 years without Vortex has a minimum age of 10 Gold Coaster is also 10

@aaronm I don’t think they had that many, I think it was 5 or 6 (but could be wrong), they would have two trains out on the track at anyone time, then 2 in the station getting loaded/unloaded and then a either another two on the brake run/spare. I believe they stopped operating like this when the incident happened. But I have definitely seen them have 4 operate since then, but these holidays it appears they are taking major budget cuts

Nothing too major to update, but while at the park this morning I noticed they have created a shortcut between Kung Fu Panda and Shrek This connects the Kung Fu Academy and the merry-go-round. Dronkeys Flyers has been completely removed for maintenance Along with this, Shockwave, Tailspin, Escape from Madagascar were all closed for maintenance and Pandamonium was having technical issues. I get maintenance is required, but they should have scheduled it outside the school holidays. A staff member out the front was saying on the PA system for ‘guests to check the A frames for closed rides. Due to COVID, maintenance has been pushed back and is currently impacting a number of our rides’ I also noticed this detail at Central Station It appears that there was something that used to be on a small track under the clock. Anyone know what that this is/was? I definitely think they should do some trimming on the vine that is climbing up the front of the station, it is starting to look messy and I’d love to see all the classic station building again

@gumb00t it has been there for a few weeks now, but I’d say it’s either being stored there for now or will excavate the area to allow for the new train route

For anyone who is doubting the trains return, I’ve had confirmation that it will be. The TOT was probably left on the drawings because at the time of their production, it was still operating and its removal had not been confirmed. These drawings were finalised back in February 2020, but the survey would’ve been done long before then.

They haven’t had crowds like that for some time now, but those queues some ridiculous, especially if they aren’t operate rides to the max. There was a time when no matter what, every school holidays, the rides would operate with every train. And even remember a time when on weekends they would sometimes operate with all trains. But the fact they were operating the park like it was a normal week day is insane. What you doing VRTP.
