Today a large hole digger arrived on this site and has started earth works. So this could possibly be in preparation for the foundations of a new slide tower

If anyone is planning on visiting MW between August 12 and 18 for rides, probably best not too as 7 rides will be closed for maintenance

The issue I have with storm is after the splash down, it ends to quickly. With the length of splash down required and possibly the turning of the boats it wasn possible. But even just an S shaped route would have added something extra to it. Also when the splash down happens you can see through to the start. If you are in a wrecked ship, why can we see the start of the storm. And finally, the exit path, while it’s cool to watch the splash down, they should have made it as if you are walking through the ship and exiting out of one of its doors. It had the chance to be an awesome ride and replacement of BT, but for me, it just misses the mark. But still a good family coaster

Awesome review @Gazza and nice to read some more negative thoughts on it as a whole and how it could be improved (because mostly so far I’ve only read positive). I definitely look forward to checking it out for myself one day

Quick SW general update The annoying people are gone for good at SW too They have gotten rid of the A frame and installed additional signage The A frame is now being used for this And here is the shittest part of SW

6/8/19 update Both whales have been removed and they aren’t taken any care with their removal (not saying they should, but watching them do it it’s quite brutal)

But he might have pushed the repainting of slides to be done to all of them

I thought an expansion of WWW was a good move, but the way they were spending the money and their plans weren’t. A simple lazy river and another couple of slides would be perfect

Maybe they are planning to construct a new slide next to the wave pool. Most likely not, but a man can dream

But if someone exits the red and yellow slides at the exact same time, it could cause for an accident. And if that doesn’t happen, when someone is swimming to the edge of the pool (having just been on the yellow) they could be hit by someone coming down the red slide

Nothing visibly happening at WWF Work has moved into the other half of the Gotham City Hall And the carousel has completely gone
