  1. But that doesn’t necessarily mean because it’s good or people enjoy it. Other than the parade, it’s the only real main show the park has, so it just adds to the list of things to do during your day, but I don’t think it’s a must see. While I’d argue the first HSD was a must see, and obviously Police Academy was too.
  2. It amazes me that 10 years later, this version of the show is still going. The first HSD was really good, but only last 5 years and it was replaced by something that has just never hit the mark. They have had 2 or 3 versions of HSD2 in the past decade, but the fact it’s still going and the park haven’t invested in a whole new (and better) show amazes me.
  3. The new Topgolf nets are currently being installed and they expect to reopen late Feb
  4. @aaronm it did unexpectedly close at the start of last week, and then it’s reopening got pushed back to Friday and now a couple more weeks so my guess is they’re waiting on a part. They are usually reliable, but unexpected downtime is always expected for new attractions within its first few months
  5. Vintage Cars reopening has been delayed to the end of February
  6. I was thinking the same because when you go onto the Sea World website, the screen fills with a banner altering you to buy tickets to Carnivale
  7. @DaptoFunlandGuy that’s the downside to getting attractions that will (hopefully) have immersive theming. I’d imagine the costs saved from production being overseas allows for much more elaborate theming overall. Which is the case for most things in Australia
  8. Green Lantern reopened two days ago after being closed for a few months. Today it closed again.
  9. Before Penguin Encounter there was a Dugeong exhibit and then it became Shark Attack (I believe is what it was called), so was all of this in that old theatre we can see in the image? I thought everything related to Penguin Encounter was built new, except for the entrance part of the exhibit?
  10. I love seeing images like this, particularly ones of SW because it's amazing how much that park has transformed throughout its history. I never realised the Pirate Ship was in a different location in the park, I always assumed it's location before removal had always been it's home (moving it was a great decision because it was awesome seeing it when you entered the park). Does anyone know what the blue roofed building was (roughly in the location of the Penguin Encounter)?
  11. Oh I really hope they get rid of the Next Generation from the name and they bring back the OG attraction sign
  12. @CR4ZE the park said there wasn’t any And they’ve shared this video showing the extent of the damage https://www.facebook.com/share/v/zJSo4G4RuDXUKqqg/?mibextid=WC7FNe
  13. Paradise Country and Farmstay will reopen January 26
  14. Absolutely, especially if the employees aren’t fond of working for the company in the first place, it comes across as lame and you become known as that person who was mentioned by the boss, which can suck I’ve worked for companies that have done this too and you can always tell the bosses are giving themselves a big pat on the back for doing something like that, but in reality it’s just shit because staff remember the times where they got so much more
  15. Leviathan has come second in Coaster Studios Top 10 Gravity Group coaster video
  16. Vintages Cars reopening has been pushed back a month
  17. Just a side note, The Dreamworld Flyer when announced was supposed to open mid-2023, but at that time the fountains weren’t going to be a part of it. So with the addition of that, saw the delay to a late 2023 opening. But I think the opening timeframe was revised pretty quickly and they didn’t publicly over promise on their website or social media to say it’s definitely opening mid year and it didn’t.
