  2. The dark field is now available to book on the website, but so far isn’t being advertised anywhere until you are within the ticket purchase area Its available during the event every 30 minutes But it’s also available to day guests during the school holidays between 12 and 5
  3. The rivals train is still mid course and has been strapped down into place so it doesn’t move.
  4. I honestly forgot about that ride, but let’s be real, it will probably break down anyway. I don’t think this is something that our parks will do. I’ve never seen them reduce the entry ticket for any reason.
  5. So they have Batwing and Superman as the only operating thrill rides today
  6. Yeah apparently four people were ‘trapped’ on the ride 10 metres in the area and QFS was called to assist with removing then. Classic media making the safety systems sound deadly.
  7. Last week there was a large crane on site with works happening on the higher areas of Kaboom. Not sure what was happening, but for a crane to be on site, could it be for replacing parts?
  8. Celebrate 80 years of Tweety from 17th September – 10th October at Warner Bros. Movie World. Bring your party hat and join Tweety and his friends for limited time only shows and entertainment these school holidays. Witness the all new Tunes on Parade on Main Street at 12.30pm, get ready to boogie during Tweety’s Birthday Surprise and see all of your favourite characters in the 3:30pm Star Parade. Plus check out the painting of an exclusive Tweety mural in-park, located next to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Candy Store. It's sure to be a party these school holidays! https://movieworld.com.au/attractions/Tweety80
  9. The event is back from September 17 to October 9. Belinda’s Barnyard Buddies petting zoo, spring-themed entertainment, American-style eats, showbags and even a very special performance from Shannon Noll. https://www.dreamworld.com.au/what-s-on/spring-county-fair/
  10. These kind of facts don’t mean anything to the GP though. Rivals had a lot of firsts if you want to brake it down, but all that really matters is height, speed, gforce, launches (if applicable) and specifically unique elements (like backwards/spinning seats)
  11. Event is now live on the website. https://frightnights.com.au 3 returning mazes, 2 new yet to be announced. Tickets from $79. No mention of UTT.
  12. The photos I posted were from late last year when the train reappeared
  13. Really? I didn’t find vortex intense at all, it was just jolty, uncomfortable and made you want to get off because it’s not enjoyable. Leviathan is going to be one of, if not the most intense ride in the park (Jet Rescue being the current winner)
  14. @Rivals you would be correct in thinking of that train. The larger train at the station is fenced off during the night markets. Little Puff has a couple steps at the back so that kids can stand in the carriage and at the ‘controller’. I believe there is even a sign that says to not climb
  15. After years of SBNO, the day has finally arrived
  16. The quality and presentation of the travelling rides generally isn’t up to the standard that theme park attractions have. Travelling rides are usually much older and don’t offer unique experiences. People generally don’t go to a theme park to ride the same stuff they can go on at a carnival/fair
  17. Sea World did with SkyFlyer and DW did when Dreamworks was under construction
  18. The versions of the ride in the US are definitely not clones. They were certainly inspired by and are a newer version of what MW has. If they were clones they would be the exact same. The attractions at Six Flags are clones of each other. When you watch the POV of the SF vs MW rides, you aren’t watching the same thing. Disney parks have different versions of their rides throughout the world, but they aren’t all clones (despite having a similar concept, IP or name)
  19. Nope, but remember how awful WWW looked and they did a full park repaint and now it looks great and like somewhere I’d want to visit
  20. The constrictor has had a complete repaint
  21. That’s great news, hopefully it’s because they’ve released how bad of shape the ride is in and this will give them plenty of time to get it back to how it originally was
