  1. Make the lockers $20, it is bloody annoying when all the $10 cheapskates take them all and i can't get one.
  2. I agree for special events it makes sense but not every weekend. Some people are purchasing them so maybe i am way off. There are 5 available tomorrow and 8 Sunday
  3. I don't see why alcohol wouldn't be included but i don't drink Alcohol at theme parks. As a season pass holder i get 20% off food and drink purchases and food isn't really that expensive there to begin with. I honestly don't think our family of 2 adults and 3 kids could eat and drink $125 worth of food, especially after the discount and if we did it would be just excessive and to use the amount up. Forcing $125 of food on people who want to hire a cabana isn't a very good value proposition in my opinion.
  4. Cabanas are now $250 on a weekend? Oh its ok here have $125 as a food tab.........I don't want all that food! Bit ridiculous.
  5. At the park now. Came down just for the last couple of hours. Goliath area does look impressive. Watched two cycles. Loading times very slow however the vomit everywhere probably played a part in that. Both cycles it rained vomit down onto the path below and on the second one I watched a vomit covered guy vomit everywhere once the ride had stopped and he was waiting to get off. That was enough for me to know I will never go on this one.
  6. Something we should do more often on a much wider scale and it happens in other countries especially Asia. Need a 6,8,10 lane highway? Get the chinese in to build it for us and in return they can build commercial properties along it for their investment/return Need a new rail network, get the chinese in to build it and they can setup every station as a commercial/residential precint (look at Singapores MRT) Need a themepark, give them the land on a 99 year lease at peppercorn rent and have them build and run it. It's win, win , we get the infrastructure we need, they get a return on the commercial ventures and we either generate new local jobs through the construction or in the commercial premises and businesses created, or in a theme park sense - tourism $, our economy and infrastructure would benefit. Everyone is so terrified of foreign investment and being taken over though.
  7. um... Abyss opened Nov 13 Kraken opened Oct 15 Goliath opened Sept 17 so yeah i dont expect a new large ride in 2019 then. Happy to be wrong !
  8. I didn't mean ever, I just don't see the yearly large capex injection continuing and i wouldn't be surprised at all to see no new large ride next season.
  9. I haven't been yet this year but i thought Abyss was still really smooth last year
  10. Keep thinking this thread is about new paths or something
  11. Wow , backwards looks very intense. They have done a great job with the finishing touches around the ride like the grass/landscaping etc-
  12. I am glad they are investing in theming, i like theming especially when its done well. Though for some reason this lot (and the slow reveal/story) just seems tacky to me. I was looking forward to taking the kids this weekend, this weather can f*&k right off !!
