No worries on the delay and thanks for the clarification. I was riding tandem with my toddler for the past 2 years, at least 50 times on the slides, without exaggeration, over numerous visits. I won't bother trying now so won't be able to report back but i am sure your staff will be on top of it now after a re-briefing. All good.

@Mark Shaw Is there a new rule on the 3 biggest Kahuna Falls slides that you can no longer tandem down with toddlers under 100cm? Have been doing it for the past 2 years (just like i do on the mat slides on water mountain) but got told this afternoon I wasn't allowed to do it?

Need to fix the processing of getting people into the park - the double scanning introduced this season has slowed it right down and seems very unnecessary. Prepaid ticket gate should not open at the same time as season pass holders. Get all the season pass holders in first , then open the prepaid ticket line. Telling people to 'come after 10:30am' to avoid queues is pretty stupid for a couple of reasons. Patrons want to get there early to set themselves up and experience a full day of action, why would you want guests to come later to your park? Also the queues have often taken well past 10:30am to process. Couple of very minor things which you are probably on top of most of already anyway: 1) Rusted tin roof over tunnel of terror - gives a poor perception of the park from North Lake Rd - looks rundown which the park isn't. 2) Bridge over the waterfall at the bottom of water mountain needs a repaint of the bubbly non slip paint - its very slippery - accidents waiting to happen 3) The toilets in DK seem to be locked right on 5pm - would be good to keep them open a bit later for kids to use the toilet/change rather than having to pack everything up and take a wet kid (maybe needing the toilet) to the main change rooms. Makes packing up / leaving a bit more difficult than it needs to be with small kids. 4) According to the wife the way the mirrors are in the female main change rooms means you can see right in? or something like that? I don't really know what she is on about but might be worth a look? 5) Kahuna cup refills - advertise/more transparency on it lasting 1 season only. were told we had the wrong colour cup this year, yet we had a choice of colours last year and if we picked a different one last year could have used it this year? explanation to us was weird - haven't bothered again. These 5 are scraping the bottom of the barrel because overall the park is very well maintained and run.

so dumb question time... i used to fly over buy a gold season pass for $100 for all three parks and visit all the parks in the week or so i was there. what do i do now? day passes for each park each time i want to go?

I never got to visit the old Movie World, seems like i missed out on a lot. Looks and sounds like it was a lot more immersive back in the day.

This is what i said before and think should have been done instead of limiting to 2 rides. Anyway, i accept Marks reasoning and acknowledge the Kraken queues overall have been an issue this season. Will be interesting to see the impact of this change on the regular queue times.

I love the scooby ride....... I never got to go on gremlins the theming of gremlins looks awesome , the actresses... horrendous and the ride itself seems bland. i think scooby is a more than adequate replacement.

Maybe that sounded more aggressive than it was meant to... i am annoyed about the fast pass change though, I think that is a poor decision.

With all the recent investment, Abyss, Kraken etc- Adventure World is now a fully fledged, quality theme park. I think it is time the opening hours reflected this. Call it bad luck or whatever but the Tuesdays and Wednesdays so far this year that the park has been closed have been very hot and ideal to visit the park. Everyone i speak to lately agree, from enthusiasts to small time visitors to people who haven't been yet, that it is odd the park is closed during the week. It made sense years ago when the park didn't have as many attractions but not now. It needs to be open to get the patronage the park deserves and capitalise on the recent investment. I know the excuse trotted out is forecasts suggest patronage wouldn't be enough but surely those forecasts are based on outdated attendance numbers. Should be open until 7pm in February as well for after school visits, its 6:30pm now and still bloody hot. Next year should be amended, even as a trial. "Build it and they will come" EDIT TO ADD: I think this is ridiculous too: To help Adventure World to manage the popularity of accessing Kraken using Fast Pass, an adjustment to the product has been made that is effective from 20th Feb where Fast Pass holders can only ride twice from the Kraken Fast Pass lane. More information:https://adventureworld.net.au/.../upgrade-your.../fast-pass/ Changing the goal posts mid season again. Either you have a fast pass or not, don't limit the use on 1 ride amongst all the others. Pretty poor decision IMO especially mid season. Change the loading rules if you must - eg at least 5 groups go before you can use your fast pass but to limit it to 2 uses for the day is ridiculous. I probably wont bother now which is at least $105 a fortnight gone from me.
