  3. I love the flume ride idea , would work really well in that space and tie in with a castle rebuild
  4. I agree human is better , still found it rough on the head though
  5. Damn, I was going to go today too... sounds like it would have been a great day. I haven't been for about 2 weeks.
  6. I thought this ride was really rough, bashes the head around a fair bit. Felt sick and had a headache for a short while afterwards.
  7. i love that big plunge waterslide at seaworld
  8. All alcohol in Singapore is expensive you could pay nearly $30 for a beer in some places. I've sat in the raffles with all the tourists and had a sling, ate their peanuts and threw the shells on the floor.... it's not that exciting or good but you can tick it off the list of touristy things done. There are heaps of shops and other bars/restaurants around the raffles too.
  9. sounds more like a monk commune than a theme park anyway
  10. wtf is wrong with people ?!?!!? arseholes ! i just went to the australia day fireworks and i hold very little hope for the future of this country after witnessing the general public in all it's glory 'celebrating the nation' trashy shit heads as far as the eye could see.
  11. How is the lighting in McDonalds Annerley?
  12. I'm a fast pass addict but didnt think it was needed at universal singapore. Asians seem to have an aversion to thrill rides.... too scary? I went in September and the longest wait was for battlestar galactica on the cylon side and it was only 40 minutes. Mummy was 10 minutes so did it a few times and Jurassic Park was 20 minutes. Rest were practically walk ons. The park is pretty small and you can walk laps of it rather quickly , it is well signed with wait times on all rides so you can just skip a ride and come back if you think the line is too long. A whole day here is plenty of time to get everything done a few times over I stuffed up and missed waterworld though which i regret It's a good little park.
  13. That looks pretty good ! Place looks nice and dark too.
  14. Steak needed to be darker... They should also make Dirty Harry's darker, need more dark attractions.
  15. yes you can, it's normally $100 , mid season sale is on and its around $50 from memory at the moment
  16. OT but the Intencity Parramatta talk reminded me..... I was mugged at Timezone Parramatta at knifepoint for 50c about 20 years ago lol
  17. The new website is up , It's a massive massive improvement ! looks good. www.adventureworld.net.au
  18. Judging from what i have read about wet n wild sydney they probably sold way too many of those season long fast passes contributing to the problem. The amount available would have to be very limited , along the lines of the %'s i mentioned before. If you got the amounts right the odds of them all turning up on the same day and causing fast pass chaos would be pretty slim i reckon. I think you would have just as much chance of having a positive effect for the non fast pass people like i mentioned. I was surprised with that too. attendances haven't seemed low to me, the park has been quite busy. I didn't think the term of not being able to use them in January was very clear upfront and have noticed some complaints about that too. Is the lower than expected attendance a 'cover up' excuse for backtracking on this 'unclear term'? Either way the negativity as you state was quite glaring.
