That's a cool experience thanks for sharing, I have always wanted a rollback. I have only had a e-stop on the tip of the wild mouse at Luna Park Sydney, awesome views of the harbour. I was up there for about 20mins
-
^I have a similar view as well. Lols they want to have it ready just in time for the commonwealth games. Haa they don't even have a site or any land purchased
-
Thanks heaps for the photos @themagician the area looks really good and I do agree with you on leaving components of cub kindly rather than concrete. I first predicted the pool would become a fountain all well can't guess them all right.
-
^ @djrappa yea I always wondered what panavision was, so one day I googled it. Apparently it's a Camera equipment rental
John Barry sales: all film crew consumables shop onsite at village roadshow studios.http://www.movieworldstudios.com.au/support
This is their website
-
@Theme Park Girl yea I saw that in the website as well. I'm pretty sure they have stuff inside and are related to the coaster some way or another. (not track or support pieces). Or could it even be shipping containers from village roadshow studios. Lols, like everyone I just want to know what's in those containers.
I think I'll have a chat to my mate Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, they are great at solving mysteries. Or even better one of us should pitch a tent just outside the containers and wait for someone to open them; I would but it's a nine hour drive. @themagician @pushbutton @themagician any takers?

Just to add from @Theme Park Girl
The containers even have shelters.
And don't know if it's the contents weighr, or how much the container can hold, but it was 29,800kg on the door of the containers
Thanks for the photos everyone. Could the shipping containers just be for the shelter and not have any coaster pieces or have something related to the coaster.

Here is a video from Sally Corporation, featuring the ride POV, entrance, queue and cheesy skits
-
^agreed @Jamberoo Fan Bro my man (or woman) stop with the nitpicking. There is no need for it.
Okay what about: "best Action, best rides, the magic can be yours now" yea or nah.
-
Thanks heaps for the video the ride looks awesome. I'm not interested in Doctor Who and my only references I know are from The Simpsons. But I will be happy for any well themed area. If done well I think it could work.

What a joke. I hope the guy in purple did not get kicked out as well.

^ Wow people pay for stories like that. Maybe I should get into writing I'm pretty sh*t at writing as well, seems to easy
-
Thanks heaps for the sneak peak @Slick. What are the chances of the Lego store having a soft opening on Friday or Thursday for park guests.
-
I would assume so and confident it is made of Lego
-
@Jamberoo Fan has some good points I feel the rides closure was coming in the near future (12-18 months) and was a unexpected closure. @SlickI don't have any core or solid evidence to prove it either, but if you can do you mind elaborating more on your claim "Because i'm reliably informed that it was anything but". (I'm aware you probably can't).
Anyway I'm really enjoying this in depth discussion. You guys have some great knowledge and experience.

Wipeout tops it for me. It was a rough choice between Wipeout and the claw. I'm yet to experience surf rider as it has been closed every time I have been to wet and wild (10+ times), it is the only ride I'm yet to experience on the Gold Coast. I think doomsday has the best theming but the up charge for interactive elements is not worth it.

Wow @reanimated35 thats looking amazing. Thanks for your continued updates.

Why?? The axes are not intrinsically related to Scooby and could be utilised for any number of other themes that they could possibly employ.
I think they may be part of the scooby doo movie. I haven't seen the movie in a while but I vaguely remember seeing it, here is a short video.
Lols anyone remember if this is from the movie.
*Can confirm it is in the scooby doo movie and seems to significant enough for me to remember it. Here is a better video*

Awesome thanks for the update. It's Looking positive.

@Rollercoaster_Lover I was there on the same day and waited 15mins Max and the least I waited was 5mins unless it had broken down (which I doubt they let you sit in it for 80mins) than I smell bullshit. Oh and I would consider that day to still be in there peak as it was last weekend for school holidays for nsw.
Not being mean but please read over what you post before you post it.
