The experience doesn't change as the coaster is indoors. There also isn't anything really spooky about it, despite its name. Much rather wait for SE, GL, AA where you're getting a new experience in the dark

Just back from fright nights. Agree with most, a massive improvement on last year, which was impressive in itself. Solid rain from 5:30-6:30 meant nearly everyone was drenched, so not the best start to the night. Film Vault - was in the First group of the night to go through and thought it was probably lacking a little in scare actors. What the had was great, but there were long periods of nothing. The strobes worked really well with the increased fog. 7/10 Walking Dead - theme wise amazing. Very impressed with the detail and the gore. Scares were few and far between as by the time we got to the cafeteria area we'd caught up to 2 other slow groups and saw there scares before our turn. Theme wise along gets this 8/10 Hillbilly Slasher - and thought it was themed very well, the did a great Job of making you feel 'outside' at the beginning. All in all probably my fav maze 8/10 3 mazes completed by 7pm - we were very happy! Skipped Psycho as we did it last year and the line wasn't worth the wait for a repeat viewing. Rides: Superman Escape was non-operational when we went to ride it at 7:30. The line was out the door still though, and at about 8 it started running again but not worth the wait by then Got of GL after a 1 hour wait. Moron teenagers were climbing the statues & purposely trying to break them, which pissed me to no end. No audio again which makes 0/6 rides. JL - my first ride on it. 15min wait from the internal switchbacks. Themed amazingly. Guns seemed a bit hit and miss and one entire scene no targets were active to shoot. Decent family ride though. All up, barring the rain - a great night out!

Can someone give me a quick rundown of which location each maze is in? I know Psycho is in Scooby queue, but which ones are in the studios & which in the show building?

haha... so in the not to distant future - say NASA says they have found signs of life/living organisms on Mars - are you saying the onus is on ME to prove them otherwise?? Dont think thats how life works mate - you make a claim or statement, it is your job to justify/prove it.

RWC - jobe is not bulk baiting and u should read his above post I think you're putting 2 and 2 together and getting 34. Get over it, grow a thicker skin, everyone is not always nice or doesn't always fit in with your personality or expectations. So just spot whinging and accept it or move on. IMO I think you've over dramatised everything and are making absurd accusations - but hey, that's my opinion & you're entitled to your own
-
why do u keep going on about it ?? We got the point of your arguement re:flight delays 3 posts ago BTW i've flown over 20 flights with Jetstar and only had 1 delay and that was due to weather
-
looks awesome!
-
No being rude. But why did u even go along? The whole point is the mazes and experience, and you seemed to miss the majority of all that stuff
-
I've never seen anyone checking bags on entry except on fright nights once
-
Depends on the maze. I'd say 8-16 generally

Interesting! Guess we'll see an announcement in the next couple of days - likely to be nothing to do with DW I think Edit - just looked into it - it's an acquisition of Heath clubs. Nothing to do with theme park division
-
Can't see it having anything to do with the wave pool, as that will be open all summer. Would be more to do with either the projector or screen one would think, or staffing/costing - but I'd imagine it was profitable with all the food/bev purchased

Mate no dramas- I'm not telling you what you can/should do. As I stated, just differing opinions Understand obviously the carousel & railway as the baby is being held. Also understand that milestones do not correlate with months/years in all babies. IMO I just wouldn't trust a 3mth old even if they could support their own Neck/head on any ride with movement at that age. I do see your point though regarding letting the baby on a ride but then not letting them in a hired stroller.
-
Obviously I have a differing opinion to you, but there is no way in hell IMO a 3 month old should be going on any ride regardless of how tame it is. Is that even legal?? Children under 6 months should also not be in strollers - this is almost internationally recognised as a safety issue. MW is entirely correct in enforcing this to ensure they are not liable in the instance of an injury. The muscles in a babys neck do not Develop to the point of being adequately supportive within 3 mths of birth. Why you would want to risk that is beyond me....
-
Used to like doing a full day at MW then heading to WnW at about 4pm hitting the slides before the movie kicked off.

Yeah just found it on FB but can't copy & paste it on iPhone Sad to hear. Wonder what brought on that decision

It's been put on indefinite hold as he has too much on his plate. He is looking at possibly getting other writers in or someone else to take over the project. Still a few years away at best

You clearly don't know what pity means. Barring that, I agree. The ride will be unique and the first of its kind in Australia, and thats exciting!- 778 replies

It's more about population, economy and domestic & international visitor figures. These impact sustainability much more than weather. Sydney would likely see a theme park (non-water park) before Melbourne.

right... thats plush dino nothing to do with a teddy bear ... which is, well, a bear...
