Yep. And I raised Storm’s maintenance window specifically with a VTP executive once who advised that it couldn’t be shifted from its late summer window each year due to manufacturers requirements around timing. 🤷♂️🤷🏼🤦

Cool so the only ride of any note for people above the age of 7 is a water coaster, in winter.

But the article makes no connotation between this lawsuit and the reopening date...

Why would shareholders who have been conned by money hungry law forms to join a class action with A very small chance of success be attributable to the park delaying reopening @Greg ?

Oh I had mine from 2015 too, but in Oct 2018 they reissued them when they changed over their ticketing system, so I had still had the order number from that change over.

Haha can confirm it does as I was just about to add my 3 premier memberships to the app for the family, luckily I still had the confirmation/order email from 2 years ago or I wouldn’t have been able to as you need the order number not the pass number...

That is fantastic for The Claw! My son has been keen for 18 months but hasn’t been able to due to the age restriction!

But did you see any whales?? -
I’ll admit my knowledge on lighting isn’t strong and that’s great if what you say is possible in a theme park context. Does it need to just pass through the light, or is it a set duration that the the light must stay on the subject to kill the virus? That would be the key to how quick you could cycle I guess. And yes I realise skin cannot absorb, absolutely. I think mandatory sanitiser upon entering queue lines and on ride exit are the minimum.

Will we ever see a new rapids ride in Australia?
Brad2912 replied to Prequel's topic in Theme Park Discussion
1. There 100% is a need for more family water rides in our parks imo, especially at DW. 2. Money controls the media. You make the differences between what you are now building and TRRR, that this is manufactured by a leading international company and not an in-house job, what safety features are included. whilst I would envisage it happening medium term, the only reason not to do it is fear, and that’s never been a good emotion to heard successful decisions on... -
every country seems to have a different interpretation around what kills the virus, the life cycle on surfaces, and the use of masks. Ive read material that states it survives hours on surfaces, and days on fabrics, and that temperatures don’t come into play in “naturally” killing the virus unless they are over 56 degrees and exposed for 15mins or more which won’t occur naturally anywhere. even medical grade UV exposure is harmful to humans, and I haven’t previous heard of its usage outside of health facilities as a means to kill the virus, especially in high traffic areas. Even if the cars were “hit” by light between unload and load, the ride ops would be exposed to it each time unless a custom room was built for this exposure to occur within Also not sure how we can say the virus is not transmitted by skin contact? If so why are we not allowed to shake hands, use utensils or equipment that is handled by multiple people? I think it’s 100% transmitted by droplets of the virus that get picked up on surfaces and then you touch your face, eat/drink and then basically ingest the virus.

A 40,000 capacity stadium can have 10,000 its 25% of max capacity. that rule however only applies to ticketed and SEATED events. The PM stressed the seated part and said festivals where people move around or change seats/stand will not be allowed to go ahead. will be interesting to see what they rule for theme parks specifically

I reckon I’ll be back within a couple of week of re-opening, especially if interstate borders have not opened given I know how under control the virus is in QLD.

Hence why I raised it in my post. Allowing a private communication to stay published publicly on this forum doesn’t lend itself to parks being open and engaging.

Should people really be sharing posts from private, employee only Facebook groups on the forums? and who is to say this person (whose name is redacted) is telling the truth? I would take it with a grain of salt like anything else you hear..
