  1. How have you come to have knowledge of their financial budgets for individual mazes?
  2. Knock down WWF? You can't be serious? The only water ride in the park, that absorbs an amazing amount of the crowd during peak periods? The one truly themed ride left in the park (albeit not as good as once was). About 50 metres behind WWF is a residential area. Nothing is being built back there, that's for certain
  3. There's been plenty on social media, local TV and print media, radio. It's featured on the TVC for VIP passes as well. What would you like? Sky writers?
  4. Other than some bird life moving around, that's a no. Were you expecting something to be happening?
  5. I like you're passion kingdaka. But are you forgetting that MW/SW/WnW are under the same ownership? Why would WnW put a large thrill ride/coaster in, when MW is next door? That's confusing their offerings, and on top of that, 80% of people visiting WnW are likely on VIP passes anyway. SW is different in the market it caters towards, which largely isn't the thrill seeker, so again is not their priority. MW is VRTPs thrill park.
  6. Well it does actually, and it's all outlined very clearly in the other thread someone linking to on a previous post
  7. Most rides are European manufacturered, so how do you figure that?
  8. Winter in Sydney gets freezing at times, well beyond 'fairly cold'. A year long water park is not viable. The park can do whatever they want with water temps, but they can't effect the outside temp. No point going down a slide into a slash pool of 26 degrees and then getting out to a 12 degree day.
  9. So if it is not opened during colder months, why would the water be heated?
  10. They took the easy option and built a water park?? Haha. I think you'll find clearing an area & building a coaster is a hell of a lot easier and cheaper than constructing a water park...
  11. Well any vacant land could occupy something, and cleared/undeveloped land would be more cost efficient to develop on in most cases. You also have to logistical issues in demolition of the ride due to the closeness to other attractions
  12. Yoshi, it won't be WnWS doesn't operate through winter, no need for Heated water
  13. The Evil Within is in Sound Stage 1 Wolf Creek 2 is in Sound Stage 2 These are confirmed
  14. See that makes sense Reanimated, except I don't recall MW ever confirming that the mazes would all be built in restricted areas this year (though I guess half the Scooby queue house is 'restricted' during fright nights, but that is no different to any other year). And ninja may need some help with the meaning of 'Unchartered territories', as this would imply the 5 mazes are in previously unused locations
  15. I've read this 5 times and still have no idea what you are trying to say. So they are building 4 mazes, but the public are restricted from going in them? Well, now I've heard it all!
  16. Why would they close it to dismantle the maze if they didn't need to close it to construct it?
  17. So it won't be spectacular, but will be AWESOME! How does one draw the line between those 2?
  18. Great idea, a couple of motels and a holiday park is all that's close by. Would be a welcome addition though seems more residential than hotel given the description
  19. Good Question downunder, probably because AlexB feels he has the right to rant and rave about whatever he likes, whenever he likes, but then had the audacity to tell someone else their contributions or comments are poor or unnecessary.
  20. Called tongue-in-cheek AlexB As the photographer I was commenting to, had a go at another poster just 2 days ago saying their photo was taken with a potato. So if my 'vegetative input' & contribution to this site offends you in some way - get over it, because I don't really care.
  21. So in 2 posts Ninja pointed out it was great that the single rider line was fixed, and he got on quicker, before stating its useless and should be gone. No idea what you were explaining about the times? As for 'taking in the view' from Tailspin due to being up high, I'd probably lean towards doing that on GD where you have a better view and nothing else to do but look around
  22. Ever considered he is there to entertain little kids and families?
