  1. 40 people in each of 8 lines? So 320 people lined up for food? Was either the busiest day in the history of the park, or you have a great imagination
  2. Don't think the relative height to other attractions is a factor, won't make SE any less of a great ride, and BSS is a completely different ride. Unlike others, I don't mind the idea, but not in the location (superman helix) as the concept works illustrated. Arkham forecourt though/old LW queues, why not?
  3. Is never open on weekdays (non-school holidays). Not enough visitation to support opening down that end
  4. Definitely says Drop Zone, not Drop N Drop. Any camera bought post 1998 can zoom in and still take a quality shot, it's not like he was taking a photo of the moon or a landmark a km away.
  5. San Andreas has been filming for over 2 months, I doubt it will still be filming in another 3. From what I've seen they are using one of the back studios, and the external space. even if it is filming I don't think it will effect the 2 show stages used for FN The other half of the LTRR building is a storage facility, which may be why you saw cars and scaffolding in there.
  6. The options today were stronger than last time. One clearly not a viable MW attraction, another park perhaps One decent option One great option
  7. I guess it's extremely lucky that the entire train wasn't ripped from the tracks.
  8. Are you trying to infer that Godzilla is a marvel property?
  9. Yeah it's a corporate Xmas event. Been running them for many years, as do movie world
  10. The matrix is not real relative anymore. Great movie (first one) but you wouldn't build a new attraction around it now.
  11. Terminator is not a WB property... Just because a movie is cool doesn't mean you can translate that into successful ride. Inception the ride - we'll stick a needle in your arm and sleep the day away.
  12. So other than DC characters Looney Tunes Scooby Tell me what theme/licence they should apply to a new ride in your opinion
  13. What part of his comment 'they could turn it into Diagon Alley' did you not understand?
  14. My opinion, the further they got into the planning and details of the projext, the more they realised the cost for firstly set up & development, and secondly the upkeep and maintenance became cost prohibitive when factoring in all the other running costs of a theme park. It likely became a situation of Wild having to be an up-charge attraction to be financially viable, and a combination of market research and historical data from the success/failure of upcharge attractions showed this wouldn't be successful. Up-charging at theme parks is not something locally that visitors are familiar or in agreeance with, and I believe the thought of investing so much, advertising so heavily, but then having to charge people extra drew thoughts of massive PR issues & negative feedback from the local tourism/theme park community. Could be completely wrong, but that's my take on it all.
  15. It seems to me as though all components are in place (visually - who knows about the electrical components etc which are not visible). I'm fairly certain they'll be aiming for an opening at some point next during the second week of the school holidays, though that will obviously depend upon testing going well
  16. I'm on the fence when it comes to spin and spews. I don't dislike them, the claw is probably my fav 'flat' ride on the GC, but the rumoured Reef Diver replacement looks like an EKKA/travelling show ride, and for me that's not good enough for a park of DWs standing. Id expect that at Aussie World, and would be too disappointed, but DW needs something with more quality
  17. Nice blow off there... Don't talk about something for long enough and people will forget it ever existed...
  18. Won't be anything harry potter related, I can guarantee you that. I don't thinks its a particularly good location for a shop either. The only way I see china town alley being utilised would be in the instance that it becomes a queue house for a ride to open in the courtyard/old LW queues.
  19. Ahh, some golf courses have creeks and rivers running through them, I've played at plenty of them.
  20. It was ridiculously busy because it was the 2nd last day for everyone to use their annual passes. They all expire today. Then add holiday traffic as well.
