Soak up that airtime! I wish I could come, but unfortunately, I live 12 hours south! Have fun with whomever comes, but have you ever considered driving down to Sydney and going to Wonderland instead? Then again, it doesn't have ToT, so I'll keep my mouth shut Have fun, and have a very happy birthday, ~Flea

Alright, I'm really getting agrovated at all these people that are saying 'Wonderland sucks because they aren't getting any new rides!!!!' Grow up. The park's getting a new shop, and that really is cool. What people don't notice when the management swicthed over to Sunway, the park has turned into a great, clean park. Not necassarily for the thrill seeker, but for families to enjoy the day. Next time you go to Wonderland, spend some time to appreciate how clean the park is and how enthusiastic the staff are, not just complaining the whole day that the park is 'boring'. That's my say, ~Flea

Please tell me you just did not say that! If you want Wonderland to have rides that are never painted, have crappy food, miserable staff and a disgusting park, then by all means, hand the management over to Six Flags. It's not all about rides, it's about having a fun day and enjoying the surroundings. ~Flea

No, Sunway is many ways has brought this park to a top notch park. Just because they haven't added any new attractions, doesn't mean that the park is crap. Look at Sea World, they haven't added a major attraction for a lot of years either, but what makes it a great park is the quality they keep it in. Ever since Sunway has took over, we have seen a lot of great things. (Just look at how clean the park is!) Thanks, ~Flea

No, sunway has gotten the park in great conidition. When Paramount owned the park, Wonderland went down hill. The park was dirty, and didn't have great staff. Sunway is doing a lot of good to this park, and I hope they own the park for many years to come! ~Flea

Yeah, that's a great edit! I'd hate to be sitting on that train while he's taking a dump.. ewww! ~Flea

A water coaster for Wet'n'Wild in 2004??
Flea replied to thunder001's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I thought a water coaster was like Buzzsaw Falls at Silver Dollar City? ~Flea -
Yeah, I'll also be there next week my brother and his GF, with a full roll of film. I should get some good shots of any kind of construction, including that banner. ~Flea

No Jaggs I wasn't at the park today, although I did plan to, I didn't have the time. That sounds real interesting.. maybe it's a new themed land? ~Flea

Has anyone been on a mondial Top Scan........ (pics)
Flea replied to Shaun's topic in Theme Park Discussion
The ride looks ok, but I'm not a huge fan of spinning rides. I used to be, but now I can be completely disorientated and feeling light headed when I come off. Still, that looks fun.. but I've never been on one! Thanks, ~Flea -
Ah sorry, I kinda scanned the text when I was reading it. I get you now, no coaster, but a flat/water ride? Could this be the rumoured WWF clone? Thanks, ~Flea
-
Hmm.. you've heard rumours about a new attraction and that's all? And if it is only a rumour, then why can't you tell us since it hasn't been confirmed from the park yet? Thanks, ~Flea
-
Yep, that's the one I saw. Interesting to know that it lifts off the ground. In Downunderland, what other attractions are there and is it pay per ride? Thanks for the info and picture, ~Flea

To my understanding, Inatmin does not make stand-ups anymore. They only made them when B&M worked for Intamin, until B&M decided to create a company of their own. Thanks, ~Flea

During my trip to canberra last year with my class mates in year 6, I noticed a SBNO wild mouse coaster on the outskirts of Canberra. Has anyone rid this coaster, and if so, what is it like? When would it be possible to grab that credit. (when is it open?) Thanks, ~Flea

Hmm.. I remember seeing a post around here stating the information on the owners of Wonderland. All I know is that when Paramount owned wonderland, they added the zodiac, which was orginally located in one of the Paramount parks in America (I think?). Sorry for the lack of information, ~Flea
-
Hmm, all I remember is this jetsons ride that was located somewhere near Fred Flinstones Splashdown. Was that the tumblebug ride? ~Flea

I'll be making weekly trips to the park, and will be looking out for any new parts/track that should be arriving in the next few months time. Hopefully it's the thick B & M track OR the Intamin box track ~Flea

Sorry, but I don't see what this has got to do with this topic.. But yes, I too wish wonderland was a paramount park 4 days a week? That must mean I always come when he's there, not on his 3 days off. I've never been to wonderland without kevin. I sat next to him on Demon the other day, as we were ascending up the lift he was talking to me about his favourite rides (consisting of Space Probe and Demon ) ~Flea

Demon is actually very smooth, try getting early morning rides on that thing.. it'd make you wonder if your riding a Beemer or a Vekoma ~Flea -
Rocket is a definate possibilty, which is in Intamin's hands. I still don't think that a beemer is coming to Australia though. For the people that do know what we are getting, wherewould this coaster be located, and what is the approximate footprint? 1 question, why three weeks? Would wonderland be officially announcing this new ride, or is Wonderland just finalizing plans before they give the go ahead to leak some info out? Thanks, ~Flea

Alrighty, I think it's time for me to remove my avatar. It was just my opinion, and I think I went a little overboard with it. I do like Vekoma, it's just that I don't like their roughness. I may replace is with a big tick on the Intamin logo instead ~Flea -
I don't know, I just can't see a beemer being built here as much as we want them to. I can definately see something from Intamin, since they would be familar with our country and Wonderland (Space Probe and I think Galleon's Graveyard?). However, there is not one beemer here in Australia, so it would be a big step to introduce a beemer at this time. But you never know! I will also join the hillbillie with pitchfork gang ~Flea

No Richard, THANK YOU for creating a site/forums where I have felt the most comfortable to visit. I have enjoyed my time here, and hope to spend many more years here. Thankyou ~Flea -
For those who live in Sydney and have not yet got a Wonderpass, then I would recommend you get one. www.----URL removed for non-compliance with Community Guidelines---- states.. Which might mean that a random number of Wonderpass holders may be selected to attend the media day for this new ride. That's a wild guess, but you should all have you passes ready! ~Flea
