    This is the case for most Intamin rides unfortunately

    My main thought behind a more lengthy recommissioning is that the ride has sat and not operated in a long time. Buzzsaw at least operated up until it was pulled apart and sent south, along with a bunch of upgrades/maintenance that Dreamworld has not long finished making to the ride.

    Also easier to just block off the whole ST section of the park to keep the crowds contained around Main Street, Ocean Parade and Dreamland

    As long as they don't bring back the water canons/ops with hoses that moisten you as the ride is going.

    So the restraints can't be released until the ride has stopped and has been plugged into the op booth?

    The longest part about Surfrider being installed within the Superman helix would be the recommissioning cycles required before it can take riders again. I'm just waiting to see where they put the queue and if any higher or extra fencing is needing around Superman.

    It sounds like a lot of research and paperwork for anyone who is interested in a ride like this. That alone is probably a big detractor for installing one

    There are other companies that build KUKA style robotic arms but I believe KUKA are the only company who also specifically build for the purpose of amusement devices.

    People kept telling them to RMC a Larson, as a joke. Turns out they RMC'd the whole Larson company

    Probably 5 months of operation before you start noticing discolouration

    So what you're saying is that Pepe Silvia is behind Movieworld not having any Hanna Barbera IP?

    You'd think they would at least announce they have made all of the recommended changes. Those changes would likely be a mandatory requirement before flights can resume but it would still be nice to see them acknowledge the changes.

    I'm not sure whether it's humorous or depressing that every few months there is a new post about the effects finally working on Superman Escape again. How long until they stop working again and stay that way until the next maintenance period?

    The company that ran the skycoaster doesn't anymore. Village are hoping someone will take over because they don't want to pay to remove it

    Hopefully they at least re-paint the track and the board. I'd imagine a clearly surfboard centric themed ride wouldn't fit too well with the flash skateboarding

    Too expensive to pull the fountain plumbing out, just turn it into a small water spout near the ride instead

    Well give the parts back or Village will have to delay another ride opening
