  1. Did I drink that much tonight? Did I drink that much tonight? Did I drink that much tonight?
  2. I'm highly doubtful you'll see any BT Aliens making an appearance. However thinking about it a cameo somewhere would be a nice touch
  3. I'm so glad the ride has been announced and everyone can now see why the park is getting. The ride is going to be amazing and before any negativity starts just because the ride features 3D projections doesn't mean it doesn't also have real sets and animatronics... Just sayin wink wink
  4. When I suggested you though the ride was better you shut me down. Now you quote other posts saying you DO think it's better. In beginning to think you just want an argument regardless.
  5. There is no company promoting here. Of course I wouldn't come on here bashing but if there is something I don't like I will just say nothing. My postings on this topic are from a coaster enthusiast point of view 100%. I, like most other riders was blown away by the transformation in the ride experience with the new train. My passion comes from wanting everyone to try it and see for themselves and not be discouraged from some very negative opinions which I strongly disagree with. It's nature that most of the time people with something good to say, say nothing, but people with a complaint are very vocal. Ask anyone that has worked in customer service. This means the negative views can often overpower the positive ones, I don't want that to indicate to people who haven't ridden that the ride is bad. Wyncenuros doesn't seem to be willing to accept that the vast majority of people DO think the ride is better and even wants to turn around and say his positives are still negative. The good thing is there are a tonn of SLCs out there in the world for people to enjoy with the old trains if they desire. Fortunately for us we have this awesome new variant,
  6. You clearly stated that the previous train could give you headache that went away a short while later. You then state the new train only had tightness on the legs. How is taking that as the new train is better twisting anything? I was giving you the benefit of the doubt but i think I'm now going to have to side with the earlier post that suggested you're actually actively looking for negatives. I'm not really too phased to be honest, I couldn't really care less if someone doesn't like the new ride, I love it and there are many many others that do also and that's good enough for me. I'm not about to set about trying to convince someone who doesn't like it they actually do. But I will work to squash a impression that the ride is now worse of being imparted onto others because I do believe that to very much not be true.
  7. I'm not talking about your one experience the other day... you yourself just admitted the new train is better "I rode it twice after it reopened as Arkham and had no issues other than tightness on the legs." Now I understand for whatever reason you had a bad ride the other day after it had been closed. But it's more than likely that was some kind of one off for who knows what reason. I was talking about Batman the Ride the B&M coaster, not the movie world simulator. To be honest if you have a headache 3 days later from a coaster (assuming you can pinpoint that as the cause) I would be more concerned about a serious medial issue than the coaster, that doesn't sound good at all. I would also avoid riding until I had that sorted out with my doctor for sure.
  8. Ok to address a few points in no particular order. Yes Alex has it right, I'm not saying you can't debate that you don't like it, I'm saying it's not a debate that it is BETTER than the lethal train. I agree completely that no ride should be about 'well you didn't ride correctly' in order to enjoy it, having to brace is not acceptable. But Alex proves my point, he didn't get headaches from Lethal. I regardless of holding my head out or bracing against the restraint got headaches. Same will go for Arkham. Those that complain of headaches etc should not be riding. This ride is not for you, the forces are too high and violent and no train will fix that. Have you ridden batman the ride? It's very smooth but extremely violent and I'd dare say would be too much for you also. And leg pain, don't know what to say. Many many people like myself have no problem. As would have been the case with the test riders in R&D for the train. You can't build a ride for everyone, and better some leg pressure than falling out! Some people like the ride, some don't and that isn't going to change. I wonder if that fact requires further discussion? The orange tag under my name has no bearing here. This is my opinion as s site member.
  9. I'm not really interested in anyone's argument on weather they get a headache or it's rough or anything like that, the point is it is BETTER than it was. Is it perfect, probably not but no one is saying that, but it IS better than when it was Lethal Weapon. It's not up for debate, its not a matter of opinion, it's scientific fact, with the physics to back it up that it is now better than it previously was. So I don't understand the sudden complains. People will ALWAYS be more prone to rider discomfort than others, I've come off plenty of rides not feeling right, it doesn't make anyone person right or another wrong, its just different from person to person. As for Audio, really, is it affecting your time in the house so much? I for one never saw it advertised anywhere, but maybe that was just me.
  10. To be fair I doubt an Intamin ride based on tried and tested technology (as opossed to another groundbreaker) would likely have the reliability problems... It's just they are the one manufacturer to constantly push the envelope. Look at Superman, it has very little downtime for technical faults.
  11. That's all well and good but from a marketing perspective how do you get that message out to get people in to ride it? Do the general public really see the difference? I'm not arguing I'm just curious as to that market...
  12. Lol there we go, here I was thinking it was just Mice Chat that had silly complainers. Exactly where has that land been cut back? Simply beyond the scale and scope that any other company could imagine building (and yes potter land doesn't even touch it), but there are always those that will be all 'look how much they've cheaped out.'
  13. I just don't get why then put in Levithan at all. They already have another extremely similar coaster. Would something that's just really a variation on something they have generate the demand to justify the outlay? Interesting with all the wingriders being built if they will keep their appeal as their difference will be lost with so many parks having them. For me it's all about Cars Land with Radiator Springs Racers probably being the most elaborate/expansive ride ever built. Disney is back and anyone who says the land doesn't live up to Disneysea is just full of shit
  14. It's pretty cool, I do prefer that other disney sim site though. It's funny cause the Scooby sim is actually harder to operate than the actual ride
  15. All I meant is that is clearly been seen by people riding Jet Rescue that workers have been at the site of the ride, doing what appears to be demolition/removal. Also some interesting items were seen on Smith Street the other week being transported away so something must be happening.
  16. I'd recommend making it a day of trying to ride every coaster on the good coast accross all 3 parks
  17. Most likely it's just some twerp trying to big note themself on a facebook page. And don't worry. Things are happening down at the BT site.
  18. Hardly, he's never worked for them and hasn't shown any "I'm stuck in the 90s" thinking previously so I don't think that's a pretty accurate assessment. Regardless of anyone's personal opinions on 'company direction' I don't think it can be argued against the fact that the last few years have seen the biggest and most frequent expanding of the company's properties ever.
  19. Some people have seen a air amount of demo work going on at BT so I wouldn't count it as dormant just yet... Btw Volcano, Dormant, get it
