Yeah is re-entry different? Will they re enter you with a stamp or something? As for towing... That's all BS. You actually can't tow a car just because you put up a sign. It's a whole convoluted thing. For instance my building (it's a rather large one lol) says it will tow any car parked in the wrong spot or a non guest. However they won't actually tow the car, they will just sticker it.

Yeah resort entry is a perk of the resort. As a guest of the resort Id be annoyed if my stay was being disrupted by non guests. No different to random outside people clogging up your hotel pool.

Why would the restriction have to be higher here? In most cases height limits are set by the manufacturer.

I do actually like the cool theming and effects you see in the second video before the reverse launch.
-
There were added effects to my video? Lol

You just have to be careful how you shield noise from the residents. I think a Dollywood level coaster is a stretch for the means of Movie World, a Disney level level coaster is just beyond out of the question.

I really didn't feel anything more needed to be said... should just be a thing okay here is a POV for you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWnAJV0EbrQ

New ride for western area at movieworld? I think yes
-
They are huge. Guessing that's from the entrance to the Freddy maze from a few years back
-
There's a lot of old ride theming up for grabs!

Ummm I'm pretty sure saying it's a safety issue is enough to get you in trouble anyway as that's putting the company in a negative light. I've no idea why it's shut but if I did I certainly wouldn't be saying "it's a safety problem".

I actually think all the negative comments about Ricks and food are complete BS. You can't honestly tell me what you want is some shit rate spring rolls, noodles and nuggets?? The new menu may be simple but it's all good and it's decent value and a real meal. And look at what they put on at Christmas, the food was fantastic. And 'maybe VIP is changing things' Of course it is! I find it hilarious that the population wanta a cheap ass entry to the parks but then demands a premium product, just sooo funny. I think some of the food prices are a bit OTT but I think the quality is some of the best we've seen in years.

Really if you want land at Movie World you have to be looking at the biggest waste of space building, the old maverick stage. Problem is Id hate to see another indoor attraction opportunity lost but it's a very weird building to utilise for an attraction. Id still like my Vekoma mad house Hex style in there.

Ok I've never really got clarification on this. Originally there was to be 2 wave pools (I'm assuming one 'moving wall based' and one 'water dump based'). Which one did the park actually end up getting?

I feel like I've heard this before... and before that... and then the time before that.

I would say HSD has closed and FMX shows are running in the interim

One maintenance man for all of dreamworld? What a load of crap! I would say if they say reconstruction they are stripping the ride down to nothing, sandblasting, crack testing and re-painting every part and re-assembling with all new fasteners and 'consumable' components.

Do you mean dolphine cove or discovery cove
-
Definitely Alton. Should be a must do on any enthusiasts lists once. Worth it for Nemesis alone, so old and still one of my favourite coasters ever.
-
Think that's a bit extreme

I think you have to look at the timeframe here. Trades and governments are closed all over the Christmas break so you'd see little movement of anything like that since the time the ride opened... So don't base things on the time frame. IF the ride was built with fire effects they would have been built to code you'd imagine and all the expensive work has been done so it's likely they'd come online at some point. Now there may have been no fire effects at all. Looks to me that there are steam effects in use and the insulated pipes AlexB has been referring to May just be for that??
-
Yes purely speculation on my part but as above that's exactly how it works. An approved design doesn't equate to being allowed to turn on something like gas when built. It needs to be certified. The original post states the effect is not "commissioned". That means it's not be handed over complete for use. And it also says "has not been ruled out" so no where does it say there won't be fire ever at all.

Sydney Wet n Wild | Can I sell my wrist band? |
rappa replied to swagjord's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Ummm this is not an official park forum. If someone wants to ask a question here then of course any answer is unofficial. Don't like it... Ask the actual company! -
^^ Could very well be that it's just waiting on its certification which wasn't achieved before Christmas and now has to wait for relevant authorities to be back at work...
